Municipalities as recepients of subsidies granted by the programme "Development of rural space and landscape" in the period 2009 - 2012 - evaluation of the program in terms of biodiversity
MARKOVÁ CHOCHOLOVÁ, Jana
The master thesis evaluates the grant program ?Rural development and land, measure 1 Landscaping and supporting biodiversity?. Within this program were implemented actions that resulted in restoration and protection of biodiversity.20 municipalities were chosen and evaluated, that were supported by the grant program in South Bohemia Region in years 2009-2012. Evaluated municipalities belong in the category of small municipalities, except for 4 of them, that belong to the category of large municipalities (towns Sezimovo Ústí, Blatná, Netolice a Písek). The evaluation included the urban area and the rural area of the village. Using the questionnaire method, the aim was to determine, what is the status of municipalities in the grant program, i.e. whether the municipalities were capable of implementing actions within their budgets without the support of the grant, and also what actions the municipalities have to take in order to become successful applicants for the grant program. Next factor, which was compared and evaluated, was representation of ecologically stable and ecologically unstable habitats in the studied communities by using aerial photographs. Within the ecological survey, invasive species in villages were also mapped using field survey. Around less maintained watercourses were recorded only the most common invasive plant species in the Czech Republic as well as Heracleum mantegazzianum, which suggests that municipalities incorporate procedures suppressing invasive plant species in the primary care for landscape elements.
The influence of telecommunication transmitters on the aesthetic value of landscape
Binderová, Vanda ; Melichar, Jan (advisor) ; Kaprová, Kateřina (referee)
The thesis deals with the influence of telecommunication transmitters on the aesthetic value of landscape. It uses both environmental and sociological approach. Subject of investigation is the relationship between the aesthetic stimulus (landscape) and the recipient (man). For the analysis, Scenic Beauty Estimation Method is used as a psychological procedure which measures aesthetic preferences and allows adequately assess how society perceives the presence of various types of telecommunication transmitters in the landscape, including the so-called camouflage. Analysis also includes a comparison of affected and unaffected groups. The aim of the thesis is to assess whether the perception of the presence of telecommunication transmitters in the landscape is negative. The thesis deals with hypothesis that "camouflages" reduce the negative perception of telecommunication transmitters in the landscape.
The system of nature close erosion and flood control defenses and their optimization in the landscape
PICMAUS, Miloslav
A common cause of soil erosion and flooding is a reduced capability of the land to retain water. The solution may be in close to nature erosion and flood control, which not only provide primary erosion and flood control, but also contribute to the sustainable use of agricultural land, improve water balance of landscape and increase biodiversity. Effective tool for designing protective measures are comprehensive landscaping. Model of the cadastral Zápy describes the specific implementation of these measures.
Historical development of rural with the emphasis on South Bohemia region
SUPOVÁ, Monika
This diploma thesis deals with historic development of field paths with the emphasis on South Bohemia region. Assessment of road alley as a significant ecological and landscape element.
SOUČKOVÁ, Alena
This study deals with three-lined road, its history, present, existing species and its suitability. It is based on two contradictory views of two groups of interest on the suitability of trees along the roads. From the transport perspective the trees along the roads are firm obstacles, from the landscape and ecological point of view they are important landscape elements and ecosystem. The study deals with both opinions. It defines ownership of the alleys according to placement of the communications and the relevant government authorities. It indicates the norms for the planting of trees along the loads and explains the problems that the new planting can occur. It deals with the current structure of tree species and summarizes current trends of suitable woody plants for newly established alleys. On the specific alley Nakolice-Vyšné which has the status of a significant landscape element is documented its structure of species and its placement. There is specifically described the way of service during ensuring of the clearance profile and legislative procedure between the controller and the state administration during applying for permission for felling the woody plants growing outside the forest.
