This diploma thesis deals with the topic of growing children's bed. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to create a design for a growing baby bed for children between the ages of 0 and 7 and the subsequent possible use as a desk that will respect the normative requirements of all three groups. In the theoretical part, the author gives a look at historical solutions, contemporary solutions and the relationship between materials and technology. The practical part of the diploma thesis will be the design of a growing child's bed, respecting the requirements of the normative and questionnaire surveys. The result of the thesis will be not only the design and technical drawings in the CAD program, but also the BOM and direct quantification of material costs for the product.

The Thesis deals with construction of log furniture made of logs in diameter no more than 10 centimetres which are connected to a round joint and a mortise. This furniture is much popular and required not only for its growing approval rating of the log cabins in this country. The work contains drawing documentation of two chairs and two tables inclusive of a technical description, bill of materials, costing, and their practical production which is given evidence of taking photographs. Afterwards, the copious photographic work section is completed by information about practicable producing procedures, instruments and machines. There are summarized information from several branches and experience of most Czech makers of this furniture as a whole which is unique for his content.

Bachelor thesis is focused on warehouse management system in the company in joinery production. The current state of the system is assessed by the analysis of the situation. According to the requirements and inventory management has been chosen a method, which leads to the optimization. Afterwards it leads to the identification of problems, which occur in the warehouse system and to the suggestion to solve them. Recommendations are added by optimizing shelf space and the system for recording inventory.
