NOVÁKOVÁ, Gabriela
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the general knowledge of human body composition among the students of Faculty of Education at University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The questionnaire distributed among students of different specializations contained three drawings of silhouettes of human body and student's task was to draw the internal structure of human body. The drawings were analyzed by evaluation charts, which were inspired by similar researches, however they were adjusted to fit to the aim of this study. One hundred and ten drawings of different were chosen randomly. From the results of the analysis follows that the awareness of internal structure of human body is quite good. The students were able to draw most of the organs in the right place. When assessing internal connections within organ systems worse results were achieved. Although students could choose organ system of their own choice, only 49 % did not contain more significant mistakes. The drawings of students of different specialization differed only in number of drawn organs. Among students of Science branches only one student drew less than 6 organs, while among students of Humanities branches there were more than one fifth and students of combinations of specializations achieved 35 %. The final result was that 47 % students were able to draw organs which belongs to the same organ system, but they were not able to draw connections between them.
