Variabilita složení potravy kulíška nejmenšího (\kur{Glaucidium passerinum}) a krahujce abecného (\kur{Accipiter nisus}) v západní Palearktidě
PILAŘOVÁ, Magdalena
The thesis investigates diet composition of the Eurasian Pygmy Owl (Glaucidium passerinum) and the Eurasian Sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus) in Western Palearctic. Eurasian Sparrowhawk is reported to be specialized in hunting on birds. Eurasian Pygmy Owl's diet mostly consists of small mammals and birds. Influence of various factors (such as species, geographic coordinates, breeding phase and height above the sea level) on diet composition and diversity of studied species is tested. Diet is compared with other chosen species of predator birds (Falco tinnunculus, Asio otus, Strix aluco, Aegolius funereus).
