Vliv sklonu svahu na konvenční hustotu dřeva smrku ztepilého
Hauserová, Eliška
The aim of the thesis is determination of basic density of Norway Spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) growing on slope with different tilt. The other matter to find out is the avarage width of the ring according to studied area. Forest in Soběnovská vrchovina is at an altitude of 775 m a. s. It was taken segments from 45 trees divided into tree studied areas according to tilt of slope by Pressler auger. For determination of basic denstity was used method by Olsen. The results offer the notion of influence of slope on basic density of Norway spruce. The detected avarage width of rings help this thesis.
Konvenční hustota dřeva kmenové části břízy bělokoré (Betula pendula Roth.) v závislosti na struktuře porostu
Hauserová, Eliška
The aim of this thesis was determination of basic density of silver birch (Betula pendula Roth.), from segments taken from the breast height, in relation with the stand structure. The research was conducted in area Nízký Jeseník and Slavkov. The segments were taken by Pressler auger in three stands with different age per the area. The average basic density of the silver birch is 491,1 kg∙m-3 (Velká Polom) and 504,2 kg∙m-3 (Slavkov). The positive correlation was found out between the basic density and the age. The dependency between basic density with height and diameter at breast height is very low. The other matter was the determination of variability of basic density along the stem height– the values increases with the height of the tree. The analysis of possible relation between the basic density and the average tree-rings width showed that the dependency is low.

The aim of this work was to analyze the basic density of sessile oak wood (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.) for groups of trees on investigated areas with varying slope inclination and to find out the average widths of annular rings on each area. The studied forest stand is located in the management set of stands 225 at an average altitude of 375 MASL and it is situated in the Brno bioregion. The stand was divided into three areas with different slope inclinations. On each area, samples of 15 trees were taken by the Pressler auger. A total of 45 trees were selected and three samples were taken from an each individual. According to the Olesen methodology, the maximum volume was measured and used for the calculation of the basic density. To determine whether each sample tree has the same increment, the ring width was measured. It was found that the samples of the sessile oak (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.) had a minimum basic density of 529 kg•m-3, the maximum basic density of 684 kg•m-3and the average basic density of 572.24 kg•m-3. The slope inclination does not affect the basic density of sessile oak wood (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.).
Variabilita šířky letokruhu a konvenční hustoty dřeva vybraných dřevin po výšce kmene na Drahanské vrchovině
Becha, Lubomír
The aim of the thesis is the determination of the spring and summer wood percentage, annual ring´s width and conventional density of the chosen woody plants and its dependence on the trunk´s level. For these purposes were researched 9 different trees. It was taken 10 wooden segments from the each chosen level of the trunk. It was chosen program WinDendro and it was made dendrochronological analyses and measurement of the spring and summer wood. It was used Olson´s mathematics figure for the conventional density calculation. In this calculation it is always used maximum level of the wood volume. The outcome is the number which is almost realistic figure of the conventional density change and structure change of the annuals´ rings. These outcomes are measured in the transection and cross section.
Variabilita šířky letokruhu a konvenční hustoty dřeva smrku ztepilého po výšce kmene na Drahanské vrchovině

An aim of this bachelor thesis was a setting of part earlywood and latewood, a width of tree-ring and a basic density of a norway spruce wood depending on a trunk height. For those purposes were on Drahany highlands singled out four-levels spruces, that grew in an altitude from 600 to 660 m. a. s.From these spruces was cut out ten wheels along the trunk height. Dendrochronological analyse was performed according to a standard dendrochronological methodology. Measurement of tree-rings width and earlywood and latewood was made in a programm Past 4 and WinDendro. A calculation of a maximum amount for the basic density calculation was made according to Olsen's methodology. It was found out that with increasing age of a tree comes slightly reduction of the tree-ring width. Furthermore it was found out that with increasing trunk height rises the tree-ring width and with increasing tree-ring width rises part of earlywood and latewood, while the earlywood width stays the same. Percentage latewood agency in the tree-ring was at about 7,4 to 96,2 %.
