Joints are used to connect furniture parts and thus represent a critical part of the furniture structure. Their design and accuracy have an impact on the lifetime of the entire product. The thesis deals with furniture parts based on Cannabis sativa L. in interaction with selected structural joint. We observed the effects of the material (particle board and board from Cannabis sativa L.) and measurement methods (vertical and horizontal tense and vertical pressure) on the dowel joint. The thesis contributed to gaining knowledge about the properties and use of the material, which have practical use in the field of designing and manufacturing furniture and about the possibilities of joining new alternative materials.

Design nábytkového prvku s použitím technologie 3D tisku

The aim of the bachelor thesis is a design of a furniture element with the use of 3D printing. First part of the thesis is theoretical, and it is about the technology of 3D printing and its evolution. A section of this part is an evaluation of materials and general summary of ergonomic requirements. Second part of the thesis is practical, and it deals with the whole process of designing of a furniture element which is represented in this thesis by a coat rack. At the beginning of the second part there is an evaluation of current situation. Next there is a detailed description of the creative process until the final product visualisation.

Numerický model spoje s využitím lana jako spojovacího prostředku

This thesis acquaint readers with typology of rope lashings including possibilities of their use. Two the most used types of lashings - square and shear lashing - were experimentally tested. A numerical model of these lashings in many variants was defined and analyzed, based on the tests. Selected results of tests and numerical analyses were evaluated and compared. At the end of the thesis the basic principles of lashings use are formulated.

Vliv použitého lepidla na pevnost konstrukčního spojení DOMINO

The aim of diploma thesis is to discover the effect of used glue on strength of Domino structural joint and on the experiment basis determine whether different thermal conditions affect the strength of glued joint and if this influencing is significant or not. Two types of samples were made for this experiment with difference in used glue. These samples were exposed to three different temperatures. Bending moment and rigidity coefficient was identified at particular joints.

The aim of this dissertation was to prepare a literery overview of the material broadly used for the wooden constructions and their consecutive experimental trials focused to strength and module of elasticity in bending at strictly selected large oriented strandbo-ards, quality strandboards and chipboards at different levels of moisture. The next phase of the dissertation was to prepare a statistics evaluation of gained data and results during the evaluation period which are outlined at different forms including tables and statistics charts.
