The comparison of ecological and functional characteristics of species Filipendula vulgaris in rich species meadows of White Carpatian Mountains: Analysis of growth and assesment of carbohydrate storage by method of liquid chromatography
OLIVA, Ivo
Filipendula vulgaris is not dominant species undemanding on locality. The biomas of studied species was rising as well as the biomass of competitors in time. Influence of surroundings biomass was inconclusive. The aim of this study was evaluation of dynamism of total nonstructural carbohydrates (TNC) in species F. vulgaris during vegetation season. It was tested influence of competitors on plants and it was included influence of mowing too. TNC in roots didn´t vary significantly. After mowing plant quickly regenerated.
Characterization of molecular composition of the codling moth (\kur{Cydia pomonella}) genome using reassociation kinetics
BLAŽKOVÁ, Barbora
In this study, the reassociation kinetics of codling moth (Cydia pomonella) was performed in order to characterize the molecular composition of the codling moth (Cydia pomonella) genome and to isolate highly repetitive and unique DNA components. The effectivity of distinct repetitive DNA fractions as a specific competitor in fluerescence in situ hybridization was tested.
