Motor performance and somatic characteristics of women
KALIŠOVÁ, Karolína
Karolína Kališová: Motor performance and somatic characteristics of women (age category 25,00 - 34,99). The aim of the thesis is to compare and evaluate the measured results of 36 women (volunteer firefighters) aged 25,00 - 34,99 years. Measurements were conducted from October 2023 to January 2024, focusing on body characteristics such as height, weight, circumferential dimensions (right arm, abdomen, hips, and right thigh), skinfold thickness (subscapular, suprailiac, above the biceps, above the triceps, on the mid-right thigh), and tests of spine mobility (Stibor's sign, Otto's sign, Schober's sign, Čepoj's sign, Thomayer's sign, and lateral flexion test). Body Mass Index (BMI) was calculated for each subject based on height and weight, along with the sum of skinfolds. The research also included the evaluation of the foot printogram and a questionnaire on life satisfaction in the areas of health, work and employment, leisure time, own person, friends and relatives with additional supplementary questions. Interesting results of the study include, for example, a comparison of our sample with 50-year-old volunteer firefighters (Douchová, 2019), where significantly higher differences were observed in older women in terms of foot arch decline (tested by Chippaux and Šmiřák, average in the flat foot category), and spine mobility (Stibor's sign, Otto's sign, Schober's sign, Čepoj's sign, Thomayer's sign) was statistically significantly less in older women except for the cervical spine (tested by Čepoj's sign).
Methods of subcutaneous fat measurement
Marek, Vojtěch ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chlíbková, Daniela (advisor)
The thesis studies comparsion of methods of subcutaneous fat measurements. It briefly describes body composition, and deals with research of the most important methods. It describes used devices, which were used. It deals with statistical evaluation of measured data. This thesis approves, that results are different among the devices on statistically significant level, simultaneously there wasnt clear factor, that would have caused it.
Analysis of specific anthropomotoric indicators of the Castle guard soldiers
Procházka, Josef ; Přívětivý, Lubomír (advisor) ; Jebavý, Miroslav (referee)
The work deals with the analysis of selected anthropomotorics indicators members of the military unit of the Castle Guard. These indicators are: skin thickness measured at four part in the body posture and the level of performance in the annual examination of physical training. Is complemented by a survey, investigating the relationship of soldiers to physical activity. The theoretical part describes the military department of the Castle Guard, measurement of skin fold thickness, posture assessment, but also the structure and content of the physical training of the Army of the Czech Republic. The practical part contains a methodical workflow and finally analyzes the data Based on the analysis results we developed recommendations for managers concerning the components of physical performance which should be focused on in the training lessons. The results show that most of the soldiers are in the normal range (average) values of subcutaneous fat. Nevertheless, more than 10% of soldiers were found above- average amount of fat in the subcutaneous layer. Posture has almost 90% of the tested men was good, but the horizontal axis misalignment arms was confirmed in 78% of tested men. Changes in assessment disciplines annual examination of physical training in 2011 may also be the cause of the distribution...

Determining the prevalence of obesity and overweight among children in the second primary school in Pacov using caliperacion
MARŠÍK, Michal
This thesis deals with the issue of overweight and obesity among children of 2nd elementary schools in Pacov. The author initially focused on findings regarding overweight, obesity and possibilities for prevention. Eventually deals with eating disorders and healthy lifestyle. The aim of the research was to determine the incidence of overweight and obesity in children at primary schools in Pacov. To obtain data applies skinfold calliper technique, skinfold measures, as well as body height and weight (for BMI). Data processed in tables and graphs. Only one pupil (of 112) was demonstrated by the percentage of fat obesity, overweight at 25 pupils (22,3 %).
Detection of body fat percentage by using the caliperation on Viva Fitnes clients in České Budějovice
PELEŠKOVÁ, Anna
The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to detect a body fat percentage among clients attending fitness centre Viva Fitnes in České Budějovice. In total, two hundred respondents of both sex were measured and analysed. The measuring was mainly concerned with gym and indoor lessons clients. Basic somatic proportions and body fat were surveyed via skin fold Pařízková caliperation method. The procedure and fieldwork results are listed in the practical part. The theoretical part provides current knowledge overview regarding the issue of human body composition necessary to understand the basic issues of the Thesis. The resulting statistic values are processed in form of graphs, charts and statistical significance.
Body fat detection by the help of calliperation at students attending optional physical education on KTVS PF JU specialized to Aerobic, Zumba, Bosu, and Squash
ŽLABOVÁ, Markéta
In this work the author deals with the findings of percent body fat using calliperation selection of students attending physical education at KTVS PF JU. Measured in hours of aerobics, Zumba, Bosu, and squash. Recorded were basic, somatic dimensions and skinfold thickness at 10 locations on the body by using Parizkova. After processing and evaluation of the results were compared to measured values. We learned that the overall average percentage of fat is higher in women than in men. A high proportion of fat in the body also showed students and students attending aerobics and zumba. In other sports, was worth considerably less. The thesis also deals with issues such as obesity or eating disorders, which is closely related to the amount of fat in the body. It also contains methods to at least partially influence the amount of body fat. In addition to special treatment are important factors regulating lifestyles or healthy eating. Both may subsequently affect the lives of people in the area of physical and mental health.
