The bachelor thesis describes natural resource economics and it's aplication on the price of Bismuth. The first part covers the theory of natural resource economics. The second part lists the physical properties of bismuth and the utilization of those properties. The same chapter is also focused on the trade with bismuth and the historical events, which influenced the trade during the examined period. The third chapter examines the relation between the difference of the interest rate and the difference of real price of bismuth. The result is the proposition, that the model doesn't reflect the reality of bismuth. The bachelor thesis concludes with speculations of reasons behind the unsatisfying model.
