Effect of active ingredients, and their dosing to CHRL 28,90 days of age
Kodešová, Monika ; Holák, Michal (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
Subject of this work is to design a batch of concrete with additives, which are to replace the cement of various doses so as to not adversely affect the properties of fresh and hardened concrete and simultaneously withstand the environment XF.
The development of ultra-high strength (UHPC) and reactive powder (RPC) composites
Rundt, Lukáš ; Hela,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis studies ultra-high strength concrete and reactive powder composites. In theoretical part there are researched and described properties of raw materials used for their production, mainly additions. Design methodology, processing and types of curing are also studied. Psychical mechanic and durability properties of fresh and hardened concrete are described. In practical part 4 mixtures were designed and prepared and their rheological properties, strengths after 7 and 90 days in case of UHPC and strengths after 7, 28 and 60 days in case of RPC were tested.
Activation admixtures in concrete
Eger, Lukáš ; Hela, Vlastimil (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor´s work is the summarization and focus on admixure concrete, and the active and inert admixure, which have some positive characteristies for fresh and hardened concrete. Theoretically, I tried to study the increase of their joining potential while this characteristic can be used by either chemici or mechnical way, their combination as well. I also Works on evaluetion of physically mechanical influence for fresh and hardened concrete that can up to 60 days old while the cement was partly substituted by admixure of different character.
High-performance concretes based on the secondary raw materials
Sáček, Josef ; Brandštetr, Jiří (referee) ; Šoukal, František (advisor)
This work is devoted to study of physical-mechanical properties and structure of high performance concretes (HPC) based on portland cement. The attention is focused on possibility of substitution of economic high-cost components of concrete with utilization of secondary raw materials or cheaper components. Properties of raw materials and their influence on whole quality of concrete were tracked by various methods. Mechanical properties of prepared HPC samples were tested especially (compression and flexural strength) with further microscopic study of structure. Isoperibolic calorimetry and X-ray powder diffraction method were also used for concrete characterisation. These methods allowed to determine the influence of raw materials on prepared HPC and to carry out a certain optimization among price and quality of this material.
Mechanical activation of admixtures in concrete and verify the impact on physical and mechanical properties of fresh and hardened concrete
Prokopec, Zdeněk ; Holák, Michal (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
This work is devoted to describe the possibilities of mechanical activations of admixtures used in concrete. Then, the verification options of grind fly ash, both from brown and black coal, from the classical as well as fluidized combustion and examination their impact on physical and mechanical properties of concrete, especially on long-term development to old age 180 days. Further attention is paid to assessing the impact of the use of mechanically activated fly ash on hydration heat evolution and the associated volume changes in the age of 1 to 90 days. In this work are presented the results of basic technological tests on concretes using admixtures, especially fly ash.
Optimizing the composition of micro concrete admixtures.
Juříková, Denisa ; Křížová, Klára (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to summarize knowledges related to the use of fine-grained admixtures in cement composites. By utilizing of these admixtures it is possible to achieve extreme properties, especially high strenght and durability of concrete. These properties can be achieved by optimizing the density of the binder and filler in range of 0 to 0,25 mm. Therefore, large part of thesis is focused on admixtures and its effect on concrete. The experimental part of the thesis deals with optimization od selected admixtures in combination with cement to achieve the minimum of the voids and their compressive strenght were determined at 1, 3, 7, 28 and 60 days.
