KODLOVÁ, Lucie
The aim of this dialectical bachelor thesis was to explore the specific dialects of the population in Zliv. This thesis includes a brief description of the town, its history, monuments and siginigicant people. To gain a comprehensive understanding, the author's theoretical part intends to determine the national language and linguistical disciplines such as dialectology, including the dialectical groups - lexikology and lexicography. The practical part demonstrates the methodology of research and the analysis of examined generations (the oldest, the middle, the youngest). Additionally, it introduces the dialectical glossary that was compiled in accordance with the collected materiál from the dialectical questionnaire. The words in the dialectical glossary are created by means of codified manuals, especially with the use of Czech language atlas (Českého jazykového atlasu) and bachelor thesis that are focused on the same dialect area.
The phonological dialectal elements of the Southwest Bohemian Dialectal subgroup´s Western part on the example of the municipality Poleň´s (in Klatovy district) inhabitants´s language
FRANTA, David
The aim of the study is the analysis of the rural language of the inhabitants, born in the 1920´s to the 1960´s, of the municipality Poleň (villages Poleň, Poleňka, Zdeslav) in Klatovy district. This dialectal material was collected on the basis of author´s body of work. This included elements such as audio-recordings of speeches, oral history and of the responses to the survey conducted by the author. Its questions were concentrated on the phonological traits of the Southwest Bohemian dialectal subgroup. Taking into account the Jaroslav Voráč´s pieces of dialectal work, the dialectal elements were structured to the vowel and consonant system and differentiated to the categories reflected the Czech language´s historical development. This study focused with respect to equalizing phonic tendencies different of the contemporary Czech language standard. The individual dialectal traits´ frequency was measured by means of the tables and their state was evaluated. The research found out the some dialectal elements´ active knowledge in the responder´s language, but their total decrease compared with the analogous researches from the 1950´s. From a linguistic perspective, it is possible to conclude that the researched localities fall into the wider area of the Southwest Bohemian dialectal subgroup´s western part. Furthermore, this view takes into consideration the negligible influence of the dialectal micro-region with the centre in Domažlice.
