The aim of the bachelor thesis is to assess the financial position of the Kovozber company in connection with the use of subsidies from EU funds. The theoretical part contains basic data on financial analysis, ratios, pyramid analysis, bankruptcy models and the current EU fund system. The practical part of the bachelor thesis provides calculated and verbally evaluated results. The last part of the thesis dis-cusses the most important results and includes the conclusion.

Vliv investičních dotací na výkonnost vybrané skupiny podnikatelských subjektů v souvislosti se změnami Společné zemědělské politiky

This diploma thesis is focused on determining of investment subsidies influence on the economic performance of the chosen sample of companies. This findings are further enhanced by analysis of Common Agriculture Policy which should give readers the information about its changes and also give them a basic overview of the influence of the changes on the companies performance. Moreover, the theoretical part is focused also on differences among modern methods of performance measurement. In the practical part of this diploma thesis were analyzed three chosen companies and part of the agriculture sector with the help of traditional and modern metrics of performance measurement. To analyze the influence of investment subsidies and key financial factors on economic value added were used regression and correlation analysis. By doing that, author was able to suggest the areas of improvement for each economic entity, in order the companies could reach significant increase in economic value added.
