This diploma thesis deals with the revitalization of the Neznašov castle park. The theoretical part describes castle gardens and parks in the Czech Republic, evolution of garden art and allows a comprehensive view on small South Bohemian castle parks and gardens in rural areas. Protection and recovery methods related to castle parks and gardens are mentioned as well. The practical part of the thesis is focused on both historical and current state of the Neznašov castle park. The revitalization design is based on available documentation, field survey and inventory of existing trees.

Návrh revitalizace vybraného parku

This diploma thesis describes landscape division and its functions, considering the outside world and human as important factors. It deals with a definition of public space and public green vegetation with their impact on municipal environment and mental health in people. It also describes maintenance of public green vegetation like plant protection and trimming. The chosen area is described and analyzed in practical part of this thesis according to the accumulated data and field research. Making an inventory of existing woody plants and dendrology research were an important step to create a plan how to revitalize the park. This suggestion consists of description of individual plantings and other landscape elements, which connect landscape and mu-nicipal vegetation. Implementation of the project, plantings procedure and also post-planting short-term and long-term maintenance is described in the last part of this thesis.

Vyhodnocení provedené regenerace parku Petra Bezruče v Bohumíně

The work is the completion of regeneration in the Petr Bezruč Park in Bohumín. The analysis of the current state of the regeneration : and measures to further the operation and the safety of operations. In inventory was drawn up, certified and drawn the health interventions (e.g., health, sanitation, new planting of trees). All these proposals should lead to improvement, appearance and attractiveness of the park.

Revitalizace vybraného městského parku

This bachelor thesis deals with revitalization of city park of own selection. The theoretical part focuses on the importance of greenery in the urban environment, its design and planting. Urban greenery is an indispensable component of the urban environment and city life. In addition to its positive impact on the population, the environment also has a significant aesthetic value. The practical part deals with the recovery of the Blatná city park. The main purpose of this renewal is to improve the current state of greenery by adding suitable tree species and improving the current 14situation around the park's facilities, equipment and pavements in the park.

Inventory of woody plants in Libosad in CULS area in Prague and elaboration of the digital map of this area

This bachelor degree work consists of two parts. Its literary research deals with the analysis of various irreplaceable tasks of green vegetation in urban environment, specific features of planting greenery and taking care of it, typifying of green areas in settled places and, last but not least, the importance of its legal protection. The following part of the research deals with Libosad in the campus of the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague. It describes the geological, geomorphological, pedological and climatic conditions of the site and the history of the birth of Libosad. It also describes the methodology by Professor Machovec which was used for data gathering in the Libosad park of the Czech University of Agriculture.
The practical part of the work deals with re-inventory of woody plants and perennials in the Libosad of the CUA. The work was based on inventories which had been realized in previous years. The methodology by Professor Machovec was used to take the measurements of deciduous trees, bushes, coniferous woody plants and perennials. All the data were registered in inventory tables and all items were recorded in the file of CAD programme. The data output provides three documents: the map of Libosad with all the plants recorded in it and equipped with a special code for each item, an inventory map with graphic representation of the items´ value in landscape gardening and treetops´ projections, and the map of landmarks of Libosad. All the research was also documented by photos which were later inserted into an interactive table on the web mapserver with public access.
The flora of Libosad includes 2,045 items in 78 families. The total of 137 deciduous trees (23 genera), 643 items of deciduous bushes (83 genera), 863 items of coniferous woody plants (23 genera) and 398 perennials and grasses (109 genera) can be found in the place. The most numerous genus among deciduous trees is the Acer with 34 items, deciduous bushes are represented by the genus Rosa with 54 items, number one among coniferous trees and bushes being the genus Pinus (164 items).
Owing to the juvenile stage of the major part of the collection, the condition of the park is very good. The majority of items are of class III value in landscape gardening (1188 items), followed by class II (319 items), class IV (82 items) and class I (52 items).

Tree inventory and proposal of new trees along old carriage road in Kostelec nad Černými lesy

Thesis is focused on the Carriage route at Kostelec nad Cernymi lesy as a historical and dendrological route from Kostelec to Cesky Brod. Content of this thesis is the inventory of historical and exotic trees along this route, furthermore there is contained offer, how to proper treat this trees and also, following sprout of trees to fill the alley. Thesis rates the condition of neighboring exotic cover of Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Phellodendron amurense, Juglans nigra and Carya cordiformis.
During the inventory along the route, there was found in total 13 autochtonous and 13 allochtonous trees. At these individuals were find out information about the height, diameter growth at breast height, age, stability, health condition and also the physiological age. The result of this thesis is a list of recorded trees with theirs scores of physiological attributes, then the offer, how to proper treat this trees and following sprout of trees to fill the alley. All these information are transferred into map file in software GIS. Further thesis contains information of this historical route and archival maps.

Návrh pěstebních opatření na hřbitovech

This bachelor's thesis addresses the topic of desing of silvicultural measures in cemeteries. In the first part the bachelor's thesis focuses on cemeteries and their history in general. It divides burial grounds based on geographical location, religion, garden-architectural con-cept and usage. Next chapter talks about application of trees in cemeteries in the past and nowadays. Chapter about care of the area of cemeteries and their woody vegetations follows. In the practical part both terrain servey and methodology of the evaluation of trees species are described. Familiarization with the model objects and inventarization of tree species that can be found at those cemeteries is to be considered a very important part of my bachelor's thesis. After analysis of tree species suggestions of silvicultural measures and potentials of cemeteries are drafted. At the very end of my thesis, model objects are compared between themselves.
