Airflow modeling
Vičan, Martin ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The master thesis explores modelling fluid dynamics images in simulation software Star-CCM+ Version 8.04.007. Three proposed variants are modelled. The first variant describes modelling swirl diffusers, the second and third variant describe modelling wall diffusers. The results of modelling are processed in the form of scalar and vector arrays, which depict the velocity of flowing air, temperature and the age of air.
Airconditioning for expectoral beds in a hospital building
Snášel, Michal ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The topic of this Bachelor thesis is a design of two air handling units for Emergency Room and nearby surroundings in the hospital’s area. The devices are designed to meet the operating, hygienic and functional requirements for internal microclimate. The tasks for these devices are air conditioning, coverage of heat loss, venting the thermal load and moisturizing the air. The theoretical part is focused on air handling units and their parts.
Air Conditioning of Hotel
Vičan, Martin ; Šikula,, Ondřej (referee) ; Gebauer, Günter (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with hotel ventilation. Special interest is concentrated on the common section, which is comprised of a lecture hall, a wine bar and a lounge. This project is particularly focused on thermal balance, air-flow, designing distributional elements, pipeline dimensioning, air treatment, air-handling equipment design, noise cancellation, pipeline thermal isolation and ventilation cooling.
The systems of building services in immovable heritage
Maurerová, Lenka ; Vlček, Milan (referee) ; Kabele,, Karel (referee) ; Doc.Ing. Martina Peřinková, Ph.D (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The present PhD. thesis deals with the systems of building services (namely heating, ventilating and air conditioning, shading) which provide required indoor microclimate inside the immovable heritage. The work thus combines the exclusively technical field of building services (BS) and the general principles of heritage conservation. The aim of my PhD. thesis is the analysis of immovable heritage conservation processes, focusing on the current state of research and BS systems documentation. Furthermore the work concerns the possibilities of temporary measurements of indoor climate parameters inside the immovable heritage, and aims to develop a computer model (in BSim software) for the simulation of various working conditions in the selected buildings. For the stated aims were selected three representative historic houses: historical assembly hall at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology; the Palm Greenhouse at Lednice Chateau in Moravia; and Villa Tugendhat in Brno. These buildings had been surveyed for several years, and in this PhD. thesis I present their analysis, evaluation, and conclusions. The aims of this PhD. thesis broadly correspond to the transnational objectives. The present research is, for example, in accordance with the international document ICOMOS Charter (Zimbabwe, 2013) which is concerned with the analysis, conservation, and restoration of architectural heritage. The research of immovable heritage is also supported by European Union, e.g. by the Seventh Framework Programme of EU.
Ventilation and cooling of administrative building
Kotas, Marek ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Jelínek, Ondřej (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis introduces a design of ventilation and air-conditioning equipment for an administrative building. The function of the device is to create a high-quality internal microclimate. The system ventilates the building and covers heat losses and gains caused by ventilation. In summer, cooling of the selected rooms is provided by the refrigeration circuit. The theoretical part of the thesis distinguishes between different types of air-conditioning systems, it describes the types of refrigerants and deals with the limitation of refrigerants in connection with the protection of the environment. The computational part deals with the complete design of ventilation and air conditioning equipment, including the necessary calculations. The last part of the thesis introduces the project itself.
Air Conditioning of Hotel Komplex
Očkan, Tomáš ; Děckuláček, Zbyněk (referee) ; Gebauer, Günter (advisor)
The first part of the thesis is aimed on creating internal microclimate of the hotel complex by air conditioning systems. The choice of systems is based on theoretical knowledge’s and practical application in abroad. In the second part there is designed solution for hotel apartments and conference hall. The other areas are designed only conceptual. Technical solutions of chosen systems are the main outcome of the thesis. In the third part there are published my experimental measurements from laboratories of Oulu University of Applied Sciences. For the study field of Air Conditioning has been chosen Air Flow Measurement and Test Operation of HVAC unit. For the study field of Renewable Energy has been chosen the Heat Pump and for study field of Refrigeration has been chosen Water Cooling and Chiller Box.
Airconditioning of the exhibition space
Dokládalová, Tereza ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The point of this bachelor thesis is to design two air-conditioning units specifically made for assigned facility with exhibition purposes - archeopark. The units are designed in a way to accomplish operational, functional and hygienical requierements of indoor microclimate. The purpose of these units is to ventilate, cover the heat loss, elimination of heat load, humidification and dehumidification of air. Teoretical part of this thesis deals with indoor microclimate and its influence on a quality of life and also covers terms such as SBS, BRI, PMV and PPD.
