Highway bridge diagnostics

This thesis deals with the inspection and construction-technical survey of the highway bridges D2-058..1 and D2-058..2. These structures ale located on the border with the Slovak Republic and were built in 1980. The thesis is focused on the substructure of this long overpass, because of its major failures caused by leaking water. Theoretical part contains information about construction-technical surveys of the bridges, bridges inspections and theory of ultrasound methods. That method has been used in the practical part for identification of the damage extent. Also, material property have been verified and overall condition of the substructure has been evaluated.

This bachelor´s thesis deals with construction-technical survey of a highway bridge no. D1-243 across Ripska street at suburbs of Brno. Theoretical part contains bridge terminology, inspections, problematics of prefabricated beams I-73, construction-technical survey and description of laboratory tests. Practical part deals with making of a construction-technical survey, evaluation of construction parts and a summary of results.

This thesis deals with building survey of bridge register number 43-011 located near Česká. The part of thesis is literary reaserch dealing with system of management and cotrol of road bridges, precast bridge contructions made with DS-C type girgers and about general diagnostical methods. The practical section contains of in situ diagnostical survey and bridge inspection, laboratory evaluation and comparision, load bearing capacity calculation and suggestion of potencional technical precautions.
