Information Security Management in Healthcare Organization

The topic of my thesis is "Information security management in healthcare organization." Medical facilities are generally the ones who should put emphasis on information security. For my thesis I chose aesthetic private clinic called Visage, I underwent safety analysis. The analysis showed that only a small part of the security process is documented in the clinic. This is particularly deficient in terms of business. There may be a leak of sensitive information on the health status of individual patients. It is necessary to better treat the handling of these data. The aim of this thesis is a security manual that will describe the personal, physical and IT security.

The content of this thesis is a proposal of methodology for evaluating company's performance in areas of information security, while their performance will be judged based on compliance with standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013, Act no. 181/2014 Coll., Regulation 2016/679 of European Parliament and Directive 2016/1148 of the European Parliament. The proposal of this methodology is designed in a particular company which operates in the Czech Republic.

Design of information security management in accounting outsourcing environment

This paper analyses and proposes improvements to information security management at company XYZ. To this end, it uses various tools, frameworks, and analyses to assess the current state of security management. These tools include BPMN notation for processes, Esko software for asset and risk management, PESTLE analysis, Porter's analysis, 7S framework, and IFE and EFE matrices. The paper examines, describes, and evaluates the current state of security management and then proposes processes and procedures for information management, vendor management, human resource management, change management, business continuity, security audits, physical security, access control, mobile device management and other aspects. The paper concludes by presenting the valuable benefits and costs associated with implementing effective security management in a small company.
Strategy for the development of education in the field of ICT security at universities

The thesis deals with the problems of education in ICT security experts at universities in order to design a strategy for the development of education in present degree courses that dealing with this issue. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of ICT security and to familiarize the reader with the basic concepts of information security management and management of cyber security and gives an overview of the overall development of ICT security and the current trends in this area. It also describes the current situation on the labor market in relation to ICT security and the education of professionals in this field and characterizes the existing recommendations for education in ICT security. Practical part focuses on analyzing the current education ic ICT security and on analyzing the knowledge and skills requirements of the labor market to professionals in this area. Defines the basic professional role and knowledge domains that should be covered by this role. In the analytical part they are evaluated current profiles of graduates Master's degree programs focused on this area in order to find gaps in the knowledge base of graduates based on the requirements of the labor market and the existing recommendations. The results of the analysis are input to define a strategy on education in ICT security, which gives basic recommendations on how to eliminate the shortcomings.
