Druhová diverzita bylinného patra lesů 3. LVS s různou příměsí modřínu evropského (ŠLP Křtiny, polesí Vranov)
Keclíková, Jarmila
The aim of this work was to describe whether the European larch (Larix decidua) allows species diversity in the forest herbaceous layer (3rd forest vegetation zone, FVS) on the territory of the Masaryk Forest Křtiny School Enterprise, Vranov Forest. In the Vranov forest, stand groups with larch and control deciduous stand groups were selected according to criteria taking into account the composition of the stand and the abiotic properties of the environment. Phytocenological samples were recorded so the larch was present in the tree layer or not. A mixed soil sample was taken in each sample. Differences in the herb species composition were compared in terms of diversity indices, Ellenberg indication values, especially light, soil pH, fidelity and number of species. A significant difference was found in the species diversity of seedlings, which was significantly lower in larch stands, overall, a higher diversity of the herbaceous layer of deciduous stands was found. Larch stands have been shown to be accompanied by more light-intensive species, ruderal (nitrophilous), indicating soil disturbance. In contrast, the species of deciduous stands are predominantly mesotrophic to naturally nitrophilous, indicating humus soils. With increasing larch cover, there was a tendency for increasing higher species diversity of herbs, decreasing seedling diversity and increasing demands on moisture. Adding larch to the stand probably affects the natural regeneration of the forest and changes the species composition of the herbaceous layer towards nitrophilous species.
Srovnání úrovně druhové diverzity bylinného patra lesů v oboře a mimo oboru (Holedná)
Keclíková, Jarmila
This bachelor thesis examines the influence of fallow deer and mouflon on the vegetation in the Holedná game preserve and compares it with the forest adjacent to the game preserve. The area is located in the South Moravian Region, in western margin of the city of Brno. Thirty areas were divided randomly and phytosociological relevés subsequently recorded on them according to the age of the stands inside the game preserve and outside this territory. When processed, the herb floor was divided into herbs and woody plants with woody seedlings. The differences in floristic composition were compared in both territories in aspects of the layer of tree, shrubs and herbs, the herb layer species number, the diversity indexes and the values of Ellenberg indicators. In the game preserve, a significant differences was found in the coverage of the herb and shrub layer, which was significantly lower than outside the territory. Furthermore, it has been shown that there are more species demanding to light and nutrients in the game reserve than outside the territory. Due to the higher number of animals, nitrophilous plant species dominate in the herb layer of the game preserve, while forest species are more often represented outside the game preserve.
