Dynamika růstu buku lesního (Fagus sylvatica L.) ve smíšeném lese a monokultuře ve Východních Karpatech
Vyčítalová, Hana
The study observes the difference in the growth dynamics of common beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) in monocultures and in stands with admixture of conifers like Norway spruce (Picea abies L.) and/or Silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) in the Eastern Carpathians. Point dendrometers and soil humidity sensors were used for measurement of tree growth and water availability that took place near the Râșca in the Suceava region. Out of the growing season, hemispherical ("fish-eye") images were also taken to evaluate canopy openness. Mixed models were used for the statistical evaluation of the data. Negative effect of increasing the percentage of conifers in the stand on growth and the maximum growth rate of beech was found insignifficant, which give an evidence of beeches strong competitive ability in habitats with favorable conditions. However, a negative effect of a higher admixture percentage of conifers on the availability of water in the soil was signifficant, probably due to higher interception, which indicates possible problems when growing beech with a high admixture of conifers in drought-prone locations. The growth rate was highest at the turn of June and July, which refers to the dependence of beech growth dynamics on the solar cycle and indicates that drought could have the strongest negative impact on growth in the period around the summer solstice. On the basis of the obtained results, beech silviculture could be recommended with only a small admixture of conifers, and the admixture of other deciduous trees should be preferred in order to reduce the interception of the stand
Analýza průběhu výkrmu býků českého strakatého plemene
BALDÍK, Rudolf
Czech mottled cattle is the original breed of cattle in the Czech Republic. It is part of a worldwide population of mottled breeds of the same phylogenetic origin, widespread, for all its continents, for its excellent properties and widespread use. It currently accounts for about one half of the total cattle population in the Czech Republic. The aim of the work was to monitor the growth of fattened bulls, focusing on the last half year of fattening and trying to determine the inflection point of fattening this breed under given breeding conditions. Furthermore, the monitored bulls were compared on the basis of genetic potential, ie the representation of the blood of the Czech spotted breed and according to the father. Fattening bulls are only from their own breeding as weaners from milked herds. The bulls are fattened up to the age of 24 months and are divided into groups of about 24pcs, depending on the weight. The feed is given to them twice a day, at regular intervals, with a mixing feed wagon with weight. The feed consists of corn silage, clover-grass silage and a core mixture, which the company produces itself. The results obtained did not show a statistically significant difference in the pre-slaughter live weight by father line, by month of birth of the individuals studied or by age at slaughter. Only by comparing the live weight before slaughter by SEUROP, there was a statistically significant difference.
Utilization of cereals on suplementary carp feeding on Ponds Fishery Lomnice nad Lužnicí
EISERT, Zdeněk
Theme of my Diploma work refers about possibility of feeding up the common carp with the cereal food in the ponds. Research was monitor on 4 ponds in Naděje ponds system. The ponds have 2,4 ha together. Three of them were used for research and fourth pond was for control. This control pound had only a natural food. During the research was every year plant into the ponds 363 carps type (K 3) for 1 ha and after fish out was this sort K 4. For the research were very pilot fish outs. Fish out carp were for weight, length of the body and perimeter of the body monitoring. This data was use for a statistics evaluation. Feeding run 3 days in a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) in a day ration 2 % of the fish weight in a pound.
