Vliv impregnace přírodní a syntetické pryskyřice na vybrané mechanické a fyzikální vlastnosti bukového dřeva
Syrovátko, Jakub
The aim of this thesis was to analyze the influence of natural synthetic resins impregnation on selected material properties of wood. Beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) wood used in present study, as a wood species considered as easy to be impregnated. Specimens with dimensions of 20 × 20× 30mm were vacuum impregnated by natural and synthetic resins at 20 kPa for 1.5 hours. Afterwards, the weight percentage gain (WPG) was evaluated and modulus of rupture (MOR) and modulus of elasticity (MOE) in compression parallel to the grain were experimentally determined. Obtained data sets were statistically analyzed and results were discussed and compared to relevant literature.
Vliv mikrovlnné předúpravy dřeva a modifikace impregnační metody na impregnovatelnost smrkového dřeva a jeho vybrané mechanické vlastnosti
Hess, Dominik
This thesis examines the influence of microwave pretreatment of wood modification and Bethell impregnation methods on the treatability of Norway spruce (Picea abies) in consideration with its mechanical properties. The aim of this work was to establish the intake of impregnants (preservatives) and the depth of penetration in transverse direction of each treatment group with impregnated specimens. Further experimental examinations that were focused on the assessment of mechanical wood properties and the comparison with references (non-impregnated specimens) followed. Results showed that the intake of impregnants and the depth of penetration increases with time (modification) of the impregnation treatment. In contrast, microwave wood treatment actually decreases those values. Neither microwave modification nor adjustment of impregnation method had an influence on mechanical wood properties.
Nasycení dřeva pryskyřicí a vliv na mechanické vlastnosti
Večeřa, Zdeněk
The subject of the thesis is to clarify the influence of saturation of wood with resin on its mechanical properties. The selected tree species is beech. From the samples of beech I've created three groups, of which two groups were saturated with resin and one was unsaturated. Groups saturated with resins are further subdivided into saturated with synthetic and natural resins. The groups were compared with each other. The samples of all groups were subjected to experimental tests, which involve determining the compression across the fibers. The obtained data were subjected to statistical analysis.
