Hydrofyzikální vlastnosti lesních půd v hlavních porostních typech přírodní lesní oblasti 3 - Karlovarská vrchovina
Velek, Martin
This thesis is focused on the evaluation of selected hydrophysical and chemical properties of soils in relation to the typological and natural characteristics of selected locations. The selected localities were located in a natural forest area – the Karlovy Vary Highlands, where a field survey and soil sampling were carried out at 16 localities. The bulk density, reduced bulk density, water retention capacity, porosity, aeration, total soil carbon content, soil potential exchange reaction, physical clay content and humus stock were determined from the soil samples. The obtained data were compared with each other and evaluated with respect to the character of the nature localities. From the results, it was found that there are differences in some values of individual soil properties in spruce stands with lower naturalness, compared to control sites with a natural composition of trees. This trend was mainly observed in the values of water retention capacity and total carbon content.
Problematika zalesňování zemědělské půdy a růstové podmínky pro pavlovnii z aspektu fyzikálních půdních vlastností

The aim of the work was to analyze the issue of agricultural land a orestation by fast-growing trees and to explore the soil environment in relation to the ecological and growth demands of the Paulownia in terms of soil physical properties. The subject of the work was the area of the plantation on agricultural land with the planting of Paulownia (clone in vitro 112) from the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 near the village of Střelice u Brna. Data gathering was focused on the physical properties of soil in terms of water and air mode and compaction. The basic soil chemistry obtained data will be given for the evaluation of growth conditions. The resulting data were statistically evaluated and the results were presented using appropriately designed tables and graphs. The charts were supplemented with comments and evaluated. The results revealed suitability of researched soil environment of aspect of chemism while the physical properties became evidently insu?cient. In addition to soil environment also the climatic conditions were found critical for Paulownia planting. Although the climatic data collection was not direct subject of this research I found – on the base of ?eld investigation – I can state their unsuitainability for Paulownia cultivation due to frost threat.
Růst týku (Tectona grandis L.) v závislosti na fyzikálních vlastnostech půd farmy H.F.C. v Nikaragui

This batchelor thesis is objected on resulting of soil physical attributes in the relation with Growth of teak (Tectona grandis L.) on finca La Reserva in Nicaragua. Soil samples taken by author were subjected to assessment of soil physical attributes and confronted with teak soils ekological requirement. There was fouded that soil character is not suitable for teak soil reguirements. Statistic evaluate of obtained data showed relevations between retencion attributes and growth of teak, it is increase of water retenction at the expense of air volume in the soil.
