Effect of cultivation technology on the production characteristics of pea (Pisum sativum)
VACEK, Ondřej
Pea is the most widespread legume in the Czech Republic, with use in both food and feed production. In recent years, the cultivation of crops with larger row spacing has been widely expanded. For this reason, this bachelor thesis focuses on the characteristics of sowing peas, the effect of row spacing and the possibility of reducing the amount of sowing. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on conducting a semi-operational experiment of a pea multiplication crop and evaluating its yield factors and the content of the obtained production. The results obtained show the influence of row spacing and sowing rate on pea yield, number of pods per plant and HTS value, the factor of number of seeds per pod was not affected. Since the experiment was carried out only in one year, it will be necessary to repeat the experiment to refine the results, given the close relationship of the parameters evaluated to the soil and ecological conditions of the particular year. In experiments by other authors, differences in results may also be due to cultivar variability.
Evaluation of the clover growing system on farms and suggestions for improvement
WEINER, Vlastimil
The bachelor thesis is aimed at describing the system of clover cultivation, which is important for agriculture in the form of improving soil fertility and as a low-cost source of feed. The thesis mainly describes the meadow clover (Trifolium pratense L.) and alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.). In the first part, the importance of clover cultivation, its characteristics, morphological description and the method of forage conservation are described. Furthermore, the sowing machines suitable for sowing clover and the soil preparation before planting are presented. In the second part, the work focuses on the meadow clover stands (Bonus and Garant varieties) managed by MIRABO a.s. in the Pilsen region. During the year, both the method and date of establishment of the stands and the agrotechnique chosen for the overgrowing stands were monitored. The density of plants per 1 m2, health and yield of individual stands were monitored. All stands were destined for forage harvesting and were subsequently ensiled in silage troughs and silage bags. Subsequently, measures to improve the meadow clover cropping system on this farm were suggested from the data.
Vztah hustoty porostu ozimých plodin a intenzity zaplevelení v provozních podmínkách
Punčochář, Radek
Weed infestation was carried out in the vegetation of oilseed rape and winter wheat in the operating conditions. The aim was to observe a difference between between autumn and spring in the weed species composition in individual crops. Species Chenopodium strictum and Thlaspi arvense were identified in the vegetation of oilseed rape in autumn and species Capsella bursa-pastoris and Tripleurospermum inodorum during spring. Species Euphorbia cyparissias, Stelaria media and Rumex crispus were found in winter wheat during autumn. Results, which are not statistically significant, show that there is a relation between the density of winter crop vegetation and the weed species composition. Species Chenopodium strictum, Thlaspi arvense, Triticum aestivum and Tripleurospermum inodorum occurred in sparse population of oilseed rape. Species Lycopsis arvensis and Polygonum arenastrum were found in denser vegetation of oilseed rape. Species Avena fatua, Stelaria media and Thlaspi arvense were observed in sparse population of winter wheat and in denser species Geranium dissectum and Erodium cicutarium.
Charakteristika přirozené obnovy v porostech ŠLP Masarykův les Křtiny na základě dat statistické provozní inventarizace
Kikal, Jan
This diploma thesis deals with the natural regeneration of tree species in forest in conversion to the selection forest. Data collection was carried out using the statistical operational inventory method on the property of the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. Data was collected in year 2013, and 80 plots were then selected for further processing. The number of individuals of natural regeneration was detected, the species of a tree, their height and damage were determined too. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the state of natural regeneration and to recommend optimal values of the stand dendrometric characteristics with a view to maximizing the number of individuals of natural regeneration. The results show the dependence of some tree species on the forest stand type and height classes. The models for maximizing the number of individuals of natural regeneration are suitable, for example, in natural regeneration in the forest type complex 3S (fresh oak beech). The optimal values for maximizing the number of individuals of natural regeneration of beech are the number of trees per hectare up to 1 500 ind./hectare, stand basal area/hectare from 16 to 33 m2 and the stand volume/ha from 170 to 430 m3/hectare.
Dynamika růstu a tvorba výnosu u kukuřice pěstované při různé meziřádkové vzdálenosti

In this thesis "Growth dynamic and yield production of maize grown under different row spacing" was observed a field experiment conducted in 2013 -- 2014 on the Experimental Field Station in Žabčice. The experiment was aimed on comparison of growth dynamic and yields of forage maize grown under narrow rows (0,35 m), traditional rows (0,75 m) and twin-rows in variants with different seed rates. Results were influenced by extremely different weather conditions in each of the observed year. In the year with low precipitations from July to the harvest (2013) was observed statistically significant increase of yields in case of variants with narrow rows and twin-row in comparison to traditional row distance. In 2014 during these months was enough precipitation and differences between variants were minimal.
