Comparison of the economic Operation of the Gymnasium of Jan neruda and the Music School of Prague

The main points of my work are parts about the economic operation of Gymnasium of Jan Neruda and The Music School of Prague and about their cooperation.
First I had to introduce the historic background of the participating schools and then I could focus on my main theme Comparison of the economic operation of the Gymnasium of Jan Neruda and the Music school of Prague.
The last chapter which is about the comparison of the study on the music gymnasium and music conservatories in Czech Republic is just the last curiosity about the music classes of Gymnasium of Jan Neruda.
During this year the music classes of the gymnasium of Jan Neruda and the Music School of Prague changes into the new institution Gymnasium and the Music School of Prague.
Even though is the Gymnasium and the Music School of Prague still rare in Czech education system we do not have any reason to expect the fall of this institution.

The Internet as the marketing and Public Relations tools in classical music

I have chosen the above mentioned theme of my Master's Thesis not only with respect to my professional management activities but also due to my personal interest in issues of modern technologies affecting all of the areas of personal and work life.
The purpose of diploma thesis is not only to elaborate the summary of tools already applied in the Internet environment for use of marketing and Public Relations classical music but also the summary of new and emerging tools that could be applied for such use but have not yet been applied in classical music.
Generally, this thesis deals with the chosen theme at user level and describes current applicable means available at the Internet with regard to possible use for institutions functioning in clasical music. It summarizes obtained data on current and emerging technologies and provides a comprehensive and user-friendly survey of given issues.

The Way of Financing the Selected Czech Orchestras in Comparation with Selected European Orchestras

The purpose of this study is to explore the issues of financing selected Czech orchestras and to confront these economy mechanisms, which are well established in the Czech Republic, with some European orchestras. As the representatives of the Czech environment, I selected six orchestras in total; they are Czech Philharmonic, Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK, Brno Philharmonic, Pilsen Philharmonic, Janáčkova Filharmonie Ostrava, and PKF - Prague Philharmonia. Then, from Europe, I paid attention to the orchestras which are either close to the Czech environment in terms of history or area, or inspiring for us for various reasons. Specifically, I work with the following orchestras: Berliner Philharmoniker, Het Koninklijk Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the British London Symphony Orchestra, and Slovenská filharmónia. The goal of this study is to create an overview of economy characteristics of all these Czech and European orchestras, to compare these ways and evaluate them.

Music Education in Czech republic

Master thesis "musical arts education in the Czech Republic" is about music education in the Czech Republic from primary, secondary to tertiary education. It affects the admission procedure, course of study, chamber music, concerts, competitions, theoretical courses, degree courses, orchestral and concert practice, the use of students, future employment and bringing their own opinion on the study of the Czech and German schools. It compares the number of schools with Germany and Austria, reflects the overall situation in the education and application in practice. Compares way of teaching at the music school, conservatory and university in the Czech Republic and Germany.

Prague Film Orchestra

The present study primarily deals with the functioning of a student symphonic orchestra, i.e. The Prague Film Orchestra. It gives an overview of the Orchestra pursuits from its establishment up till its 10th anniversary, which is commemorated this season. Furthermore, the thesis offers a detailed description the Orchestra organizational layout, its financial back-up, concert venues and its repertoire. Apart from that, the paper accounts for the changes related to the title of this corporate body owing to the new Civil Code.
Last but not least, authentic examples major film music projects of the world format and their product specifics needs are included. Finally, a brief outline of the development and the history of film music from the period of Silent film till the time of The Hollywood Golden Age and the most famous film music composers is provided.

Manager's Personality in Classical Music

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe in detail the personality of music manager, follow the development from the childhood to the employment possibilities, distinguish and emphasis the unique personality traits that are unconditionally necessary for his job. The thesis also points out some grave problems typical for Czech cultural market that would be vital to change.
The work is based on books about general management and effective leading, and the second part draws from the literature focused on cultural and music management and specification of classical music world. A reader can largely find there also subjective author's opinions based on her acquired knowledge and experience.
On the basis of the outcome is essential to change the attitude to music management from long-term point of view. The education of music managers has to be treated in the most responsible way. It has to be also created an unequivocally statute of music management in Czech Republic that can handle Czech national musical heritage.

This B.A. thesis Cultural and market-economic aspects of transmission opera performances from Metropolitan Opera in New York(Met) aims to map one of the products the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the product of live broadcasts of opera performances in high quality image resolutin, the product Live in HD. Its aim is to capture the successful product development applying in the cultural field at a time close to his creation, but also a sufficient distance to enable him to capture the development and performance. Compares the conditions for applying the product (in the broader context of cultural functioning of the market) in theU.S. and Republic, explains the principles of operation of the product, examines the distribution and promotional network needed for its spread and points to certain elements and moments as a possible source of inspiration for the cultural market in the Czech Republic. This work is in the Czech Republic in this range yet unique.

This essay analyses the process of opera and pop music blending into one another. In particular, it focuses on The Three Tenors and their impact on this process, trend and on the phenomenon they have created. The practical part describes the process of preparation, implementation, and evaluation of a concert with the successful Canadian ensemble The Tenors, which builds on the previously mentioned trend of opera and pop music mixing into one genre, and the phenomenon of The Three Tenors.

New digital forms and ways of selling of musical materials

The Master thesis deals with new forms of digital music sheets, selling musical materials and makes proposal for realization and financial options for project of music sheets database. The first chapter concerns the definition of digitalization, protection and security of digital data, and discusses a digitalization as an object of Czech cultural policy. The second chapter deals with digital and digitalized musical materials, with mention of music notation software and introduces the non-profit electronic resources of music sheets. The topic of the third chapter is development of music publishing, selling of musical materials and development of copyright in music. In the final fourth chapter the proposal for implementation of the project and possible funding of music sheets database is described.

The objectives of the theses are to provide an overview of all aspects and details, which should not be neglected by organizer. At first, it discusses the possible spaces, suitable for concert use, and specifies the types of potential organizers. The main part attends to organization itself.
