Vliv ročního období na mléčnou užitkovost a změny chování dojnic holštýnského skotu v průběhu roku ve vybraném chovu
Rusnáková, Jaroslava
This bachelor thesis studied the effect of season on change in milk yield and behav-ioural change in Holstein dairy cows. The research was carried out in a selected farm in the South Moravian region from April 2021 to December 2021. The research on the change in milk yield, characterised by daily production intake and milk content, was carried out on an average number of 313 cows on all lactations in April-May, July-August, October-November and December. The lowest protein (3.2%) and fat (3.56%) content was found in the sample from the summer period. The lactose content in the summer months was the highest (5.05 %). The behaviour of the dairy cows was observed in the 2nd lactation herd. Behavioural observations included the following activities: water intake, feeding, resting, rumination, con-tact, exercise, comfort behaviour and defecation. Resting was the most performed activity (36.98%) and defecation was the least performed activity (1.33%).
Analysis of milk yield in a selected herd of dairy cattle
PAVLÍKOVÁ, Gabriela
The aim of this work was to prepare a literature review of the milk yield of dairy cows and especially about the indicators and main factors that affect it. In the practical part, the aim was to evaluate the milk yield in a selected herd of dairy cattle and to draw conclusions and recommendations from the results.
Comparison of breeding values of the Holstein bulls with real performance of their daughters in selected breeding
ZIKMUND, Jiří
The aim of the work was to evaluate the real benefit of the breeding performance of a bull on a group of daughters in selected breeding, in comparison with his presented breeding values. The work was monitored four breeding bulls, who were part of the breeding plans in the breeding Maly Bor. The daughter's results of these breeding bulls were monitored in the period of the year 2018 and 2019.
Biologické a ekonomické aspekty reprodukce skotu
Tušarová, Helena
The bachelor thesis was focused on the analysis of factors influencing the length of pregnancy in dairy cattle of Holstein breed. The length of pregnancy was affected by the month of pregnancy, sex of calves, birth of twins and parity. The length of gestation was also affected by birth of live or still-born calves. Results suggest that a number of factors influence the length of pregnancy and it is needed to give them sufficient attention.
Vliv vybraných parametrů chovatelského prostředí na množství imunoglobulinů v kravském mlezivu
Drozdová, Michaela
The aim of the work Influence of selected factors breeding environment for the amount of immunoglobulins in cow was to evaluate the effect of the various factors on the colostrum quality, particularly on the amount of immunoglobulins present in the colostrum. Data collection for the evaluation was performed during the whole year on the farm in Šumvald, which is the part of the stock company Úsovsko, with its seat in Klopina. The number of the 539 cows (including heifers), of the Holstein breed in the different lactations were involved into the observation. The density of the each evaluated sample of the colostrum was higher than 1050 g/l. During the evaluation of my observations I have realised, that the most important for the colostrum quality was the influence of the annual period and the rank of the lactation, rather less important was the influence of the numerous group of the cows, from which was the colostrum obtained and the difficulty of the birth. The time elapsed between the birth and the first milking and the daily period of the birth had the lowest importance.
Vliv ročního období a četnosti pastvy na produkci mléka a mléčných výrobků od krav holštýnského skotu ve vybraném podniku
Kulišťáková, Michaela
In this work, the effects of seasons and frequency of grazing on the quality of Holstein cattle´s milk and milk products was monitored. Data from milk reccording of Z. P. Z. farm in Valašská Bystřice were used to obtain the results for year 2015. Dairy cows were categorized in numerical order of lactation into the three numerically equal groups that are dairy cows in 1st, 2nd and 3rd to 6th lactation. Deviations of milk yield were being observed during the year in relation to pasture. We also studied whether there was also change in representation of other milk components, especially in fat and proteins in the particular groups and well as in the whole herd. The results of the analysis showed that the most balanced milk yield during the monitoring of dairy cows was achieved in the winter months. When coming to and leaving from the pasture, we recorded significant declines in all observed values. During period of grazing, our results were highly fluctuating with the lowest values of milk yield (24.65 kg) and content of fat (3.67 %) recorded in August, which we attribute to high average daily temperatures. However, highest values were recorded during January for milk yields (32.25 kg) and during December for contents of fat and proteins (4.47 % and 3.37 % respectively). Effect of seasons on milk products was evaluated according to market demand. Highest demand for cheese and quark was recorded during spring months.
