Bauschinger effect and cyclic plasticity in constructional magnesium alloy.
Holas, Jiří ; Gejdoš, Pavel (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is dealing with low cycle - fatigue behavior of formed magnesium alloy AZ61 and detection of cyclic plasticity with possibility of Bauschinger effect influence. In addition of fatigue properties metallographic evaluation of microstructure and also evaluation of mechanical qualities was made.
Evaluation of corrosion resistance of magnesium alloy AZ61
Hlavnička, Jiří ; Horynová, Miroslava (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
This work is foccused on assessment of corrosion resistivity and character of corrosion attack of AZ61 magnesium alloy. Squeeze casting specimens in both as-cast state and in solution annealing state were used as the experimental material. Corrosion degradation was performed in a salt spray fog (5% solution of sodium chloride). Mechanism of corrosion, appearance and depth of corrosion attack have been evaluated.
Fatigue properties of AZ61 magnesium alloy
Provazníková, Andrea ; Juliš, Martin (referee) ; Pantělejev, Libor (advisor)
This master’s thesis is dealing with low-fatigue behavior of magnesium alloy AZ61, prepared via squeeze casting method. The main aim of this work was to obtain the basic mechanical properties as well as the low cycle fatigue data. Additional metallographical evaluation of microstructure and fractographical analysis after fatigue tests was made.
Low cycle fatigue behaviour of cast magnesium alloy AZ61.
Kaňová, Monika ; Gejdoš, Pavel (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis ai dealing with the finding of cyclic plasticity and the low cycle - fatigue behavior of magnesium alloy AZ61. Alloy was cast via squeeze casting method. In addition to fatigue properties was observed microstructure of the alloy and was measured the basic mechanical properties of the alloy.
