Methods of steganography

This bachelor thesis deals with steganography, its types and methods. Steganography is generally described in this work. A significant part of this thesis is devoted to the development of steganography and also describes how is steganography used for malware and copyright protection. The next part describes the types of steganography according to the type of carrier, their methods and properties of steganographic methods. Based on theoretical knowledge, an application with a graphical user interface was created to hide and reveal secret information using steganographic method LSB. This application is described in the final part together with the evaluation of security of hidden information.

Mastic Asphalts

This bachelor‘s thesis aims to closely showcase the knowledge of mastic asphalt. The theoretical part describes history, consistency of the mixture, production process and technique of application including the newest trends. The practical part includes the assessment of bulk density altogether with the functional tests of stiffness modulus and the resistance to low temperatures for the sample of mastic asphalt with polymer modified asphalt.

Standuino

Standuino is the inovative force in hand-made electronic music and open source hardware as well as theoretically and historically driven movement that results in artworks, bands, workshops, happenings and writings. Standuino started as a clone board of popular Arduino but adapted to even more DIY approach of eastern region (=bastl). With this powerful tool it became part of many art installations and enabled our research team to build prototypes of many different devices most importantly musical instruments. The whole concept of Standuino is inspired and covered by the story of a pioneer of media art – Standa Filip.

Driving dynamics of a tractor

This thesis analyses driving dynamics of tractors and its dependence on their weight and age. In the beginning, brief history of tractor development and definition of basic concept of the tractor analysis is described. The thesis states procedures for obtaining magnitudes necessary for determining of driving dynamics. Experimental part describes the realized measurement on chosen sample of tractors and interprets measured values. Last part of the thesis contains evaluation of the measurement results.

The Draft Strategy Purchasing Management in Company

In my thesis, I will discuss the draft strategy for the management of business in society. The first part will discuss the theoretical knowledge related to retail. In the second part I introduce. I also worked with the cooperative Jednota, consumer cooperative in Mikulov, which gave me the necessary information so that I could analyze the current state of retail. Based on the current state of retail, I created a proposal for improvement.

Conversion of Vlněna boiling-room

The Bachelor thesis deals with the reconstruction and restoration of the building which is part of Vlněna complex in Brno. Location, in which is the object situated, is undergoing an extensive/large modernisation. Almost all historic buildings of this industrial complex are being replaced with high-rise administration blocks which deviate from historical context of the area. One of those exceptions, is also the object of this thesis. It is a former heating building that supplied energy to a mentioned complex. The attempt of the design was maximal purification from contemporary and purely functional interventions in order to support the historical footprint which is a fundamental factor for revitalization of the remaining parts of the area. The building is, in its own way, a manifestation of its surroundings. The object was cleansed to its visible structure made of bricks and wooden beam ceilings. This is refering to a time when these materials were understood as an essential costruction of every building, until they were replaced with structures from reinforced concrete and transparent facades with purely functional approach, which is visible in this new vision of Vlněna complex. Considering the administration aspect of the rest of the area, the building with its functional usage is trying to stimulate life and by that add space for social facilities. The object poetically named “the centre of regeneration“ includes many ways of relaxation which is an integral element to a monotone activities of administration buildings. The lower parts of the building contain a social function in the form of mini-brewery with beer hall/cellar, and restaurant in second floor. The other floors then offer regeneration, mental and physical, from massages to yoga practice. The result of this thesis is a revitalizational boost of the area. The Archeological Park Mikulcice

Architectonic and urbanistic concept The designed area is placed in the rural zone of the village Mikulčice and in the rural zone of the village Kopčany. This area has a big potencial in its cultural and historical values as well as in the natural ones. The connection of the pure and very original nature with a very strong historical value gives the region its very own authentic character and amplifies the experience of the visitor. This reagion was declared as a cultural heritage in 1962 and yet it is nominated to the World heritage list UNESCO. Its rich history and archeological discoveries gave an idea to built here a congress center. The congress center is situated in the natural enviroment where it presents the ruined churches and also the archeological discoveries. The goal of this project is to attract attention of the public. To enriche the knowledge of the public and to connect both sides of the river Morava by a bridge. The idea is to preserve the woods and meadows in the horizontal like region and to enter the landscape with a similar composition. The building itself is situated to the north of the ground plans of the churches, in historical path of the authentic waterway around the stronghold site. Its shape is inspired by a boat which reflects the waterway and the heritage of st.Cyril and st.Method who passed on to us the teachings of the Church. This is symbolised as large boats carrying the people to the everlasting salvation. The topic of the „path“ reminds us of our pilgrimage through the neverending sea of time. The values which our ancestors passed on to us and which we will pass on to our children. The bridge which overcomes this building can be a notional connection beetween the history and the present days. These are undoubtedly linked together and we should not forget it.
