Dynamika přirozené obnovy dřevin v NPR Boubínský prales
Komárková, Eva
The aim of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the structure and developmental dynamics of natural tree regeneration in the core area of the Boubín virgin forest NNR and also to evaluate the effect of selected factors such as light conditions, water-affection of the site and substrat type on its occurence. By using a system of circular inventory plots all individuals of d1.3 < 10 cm were in 2010, 2012 and 2013 registered and classified into corresponding height class or diameter class. To find out the light conditions of this plots the hemispherical photographies were taken. The main tree species are represented by so-called hercynian mixture (spruce-fir-beech), which is contemporary for the main part in the stage of optimum and the initial stage of disintegration. It emerged that beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) is markedly dominated species in the regeneration layer and is related to water-unaffected sites. On the contrary representation of fir (Abies alba Mill.) is very low and its occurence was not to be found to be conditioned by any of considered factors; neverthless its growing-up has been prooved. Spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karsten) is very poorly able to compete in growing-up with beech, but this fact is not affected by any of analysed factors.
Variabilita podkorunových srážek ve smrkovém porostu
Smrček, Jan
This paper deals with variability of throughfall in spruce stand (Picea abies (L.) Karst) at the age thirty-nine years. The research was performed at the experimental plot situated 620 m above the sea level and its surface was 625 m2. The throughfall precipitation variability was evaluated by twenty-five rain gauges placed in the stand and compared to rainfalls in the meteorological tower. Subsequently, the structure of the stand was measured using a hemiview photograph and a leaf area index, and the throughfall was evaluated against it. Data were processed in the EXCEL and STATISTICA programs. It has been found that the degree of openness and density of the stand directly affects the precipitaion falling under the stand. It has also been found that the highest precipitation is at the point of tree crowns with contact.
Výpočet radiace v lesních porostech na základě dat leteckého laserového skenování
Patočka, Zdeněk
Leaf area index (LAI) is the most important variable influencing the penetration of solar radiation beams through the forest stand. Currently, the airborne laser scanning, as new indirect method, suggests itself for estimation of LAI. LAI was measured terrestrially using the hemispherical photographies analysis and compared with LiDAR Penetration Index - LPI. There were created several regression models describing the dependence of LAI and LPI with coefficients of determination from 0.71 up to 0.81. Leaf area index was also applied to the Beer-Lambert law for calculation of the solar radiation in forest stands. Practical application possibilities of LPI in forestry (estimation of stocking, optimization of shelterwood cuttings etc.) have been described in conclusion of this diploma thesis.
