Problematika výživy jalovic

The thesis gives an overview of the nutrition of calves and heifers. The thesis is focused mostly on the dairy breeds of cattle and contains recommendations about the correct technology of rearing of calves and heifers, composition of rations, feeding in individual periods with regard to the anatomical-morphological structure of the individual organs of an individual which changes with age. The last chapter is made up of the problematic of health. Heifers are a category of cattle from 6 months to calving. It therefore follows the plant nutrition of calves and is exclusively based on plant feeds. Suitable feed ration in necessary for good health which is a prerequisite for high production of good-quality product and ensuring longevity of dairy cows. The basic requirement for feed ration is to match the growth intensity set by the breeding goal. The correct rearing of heifers is an important factor for high production and correct reproduction.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out and compare the behaviour of heifers of different age during rearing. Monitoring of heifers was carried out at Agriprod ltd., the company with Holstein and Czech Fleckvieh breeding dairy cattle. Monitoring was carried out for 24 hours with 5 minutes intervals. Observed behaviour included feed intake, rest, standing, movement and comfort behaviour. The average age of groups was 4.3 months (group 1), 11.0 months (group 2), 17.5 months (group 3) and 23.0 months (group 4). Lengths of basic categories of behaviour varied according to the age of animals. The feed intake time was 7.5 hours for the first group, 5.7 hours for the second group, 3.7 hours for the third group and 1.3 hours for the last fourth group. The average length of the rest category by the age groups was: 13.4 hrs, 14.7 hrs, 13.4 hrs, 12.3 hrs. Differences have been also discovered in the manifestations of comfort behaviour.

Rearing heifers is one of the most important activities undertaken in the framework of the operation of dairy cattle farms. Corn silage and perennial forage crops are an important feed for livestock. During their production is important to follow all technological procedures starting from the selection of seed forage crops to quality covering the silo. Failure to observe technological processes leads to problems of poor fermentation process which results in poor feed, which immediately reflected on the animals. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate nutritive value of silages. The literature review processes the nutrition of the heifers in the agricultural cooperative Zemědělská Klučenice, a.s. It includes also the composition of the feed ration, the share of individual components and their nutrient composition. Agricultural cooperative owns modern technology. The result there were no deficiencies in feed rations and in hygiene. In the conclusion, the author suggests possible solutions improve.

Rearing heifers is one of the most important activities undertaken in the framework of the operation of dairy cattle farms. One of the main common principles of animal husbandry and veterinary care that allow to achieve successful results is securing of a diligent, permanent and systematic attention dedicated to the rearing heifers (optimal growth) in the period from their birth to the period of their second lactation. This care is based on the accepted program of their breeding that represents a guarantee of their full development in periods. The aim of this study was to process literary studies that deal with nutrition and feeding heifers up to the 7th month of pregnancy. The literature review processes the nutrition of the heifers in the agricultural cooperative Staré Hobzí up to the 7th month of their pregnancy. It includes also the composition of the feed ration, the share of individual components and their nutrient composition. In the conclusion, the author suggests possible solutions that would improve the nutrient composition of the feed ration and the health status of heifers.
INDICATORS OF MILK PRODUCTION AND FERTILITY BY GRAZING REARED HEIFERS

The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the parameters of the milk performance, reproduction indicators and health of Holstein cows that were raised on pasture at ŠZP (School agriculture company) Haklovy Dvory. Monitoring is carried out in the years 2011 - 2013. The work involved two groups bred cows grazed in total 56. In 2012 it was 27 cows and in 2013 29 cows. The control group which was represented by 20 heifer which had been reared in stable in years 2010-2011 the number 20 Holstein cows. The evaluation of parameters was set on the first standardized lactation in the range of 240 to 305 days. Into observation of reproductive indicators was included the age of the first calving (days), insemination interval (days) and servis period (days). From the productive indicators there was the quantity of milk (kg), the content of fat in the milk (%), quantity of fat in the milk (kg), and the content of proteins.
The evaluation of productive and reproductive indicators by grazing reared heifers

On the school farm were selected a total of 33 heifers, 13 heifers, pasture bred heifers and 20 team-bred manner. For these two groups was observed fertility (age at first calving, insemination interval, service period) and milk yield (kg of milk, fat content in%, the amount of fat in kg,% protein content and protein in kg). Age at first calving was bred heifers on pasture lower, because the naturally% higher pregnancy rate than that of insemination. The positive effect of grazing is observed only for insemination interval was shorter in the pasture bred heifers. However, the achieved value of service period was favorable for the stable breeding heifers bred. Milk production (kg) was found higher in cows bred the stable breeding. The same was true even in the amount of fat (kg) and protein (kg), as a result of higher milk production overall. The percentage of fat and protein in milk was found almost no difference. The results come from a small set of heifers and objective assessment would be appropriate to verify this in order to discuss the impact of grazing on production and reproductive performance.
Prevalence of parasites of alimentary system in young cattle.

In biennial following (spring 2005, autumn 2005, spring 2006, autumn 2006) we're rasitology examine 288 samples dropping from heifers and 288 samples dropping from bulls. Exhibits we're examined floatation in Sheather´s sugar solution. In examinate dropping we're proved present cysts Giardia intestinalis and oocysts Cryptosporidium andersoni and family Eimeria. In heifers was most frequent parasites coccidia Eimeria sp. (28,5 %). Flagellata Giardia intestinalis occur in 17 % of all designs. At least we're open up Cryptospordium andersoni (9,4 %). In bulls we're noted highest occurrence coccidia Eimeria sp. (19,1 %). Almost same occurrence we're found out near Giardia intestinalis (18,8 %). Very low prevalence we're have observed near Cryptosporidium andersoni (1,4 %).
