Defects caused of Solder Paste Application and Process Optimizing
Štichová, Zuzana ; Žilina, Michal Staník, EMTEST (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is documentation of cases, where the problems appear of solder paste reflow process, evaluation and recommendation for increasing quality of proposal PCB. This work contains also recommendation of process using adhesives for double-sided SMD assembly. At the cooperation with the firm Emtest, a.s. in Žilina, I mostly intent on optimalization of proposal footprints and realization of their changes as the one way of solving the problem. I made also statistics of solder paste reproducibility by JetPrinting technology.
Bonding of thin metal sheets
Poul, David ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on theory and methods of adhesive bonding. Experimental part is focused on two topics: determining dependences of bonded joint shear tension on a cure time and determining dependences of bonded joint shear tension on a size of contact area. Loctite SI 5399 RD acetoxy silicone one component glue was used for these experiments. At determining dependences of bonded joint shear tension on a size of contact area tension is raising, but the grow wasn’t directly proportional on the grow of size of contact area. Determining dependences of bonded join shear tension on a cure time it was proved, that tension is raising first 24 hours very quickly. After this period is process slowing down and tension is increasing to its maximum. After 18 hours bond tension is solid enough to be handling, but 24 hours of curing time is more secured.
Label Adhesives with Enhanced Humidity Resistance
Kotrlová, Janka ; Jančovičová, Viera (referee) ; Dzik, Petr (advisor)
The main topic of the thesis was to examine the hydrophobicity of labeling adhesives in the state before drying, it means their resistance against condensated moisture. The problem was solved by measuremensts of contact angle between the drop of water and glue. Measurements of dynamic viscosity and wet tack were also performed for the sake of complex characterization of the glue properties. Comparison of properties among single-component adhesives based on the acrylic copolymers alkalised with various agents was made. The impact of starches and industrial additives on glues was determined by the analysis of primary physical and chemical parameters. The purpose of the measurements was to develop a formula of the glue with enhanced atmospheric moisture resistance, that also would have the required parameters in the equilibrium. Finally, some selected glue samples were practically tested for condensation water resistance. These tests were performed in a climatic chamber with water condensating conditions.
Hybrid bonded joints
Godál, Samuel ; Hanáčková, Pavla (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
In the practical part of this bachelor thesis, 5 threaded joints were made with semi-rigid pressing threads, 3 samples with glued joint using Sikaflex-222i UV adhesive and 5 hybrid bonded joints using semi-rigid pressing threads and Sikaflex-222i UV adhesive. All the bonded sheets were made of AlMg1. The tensile test results showed that the load was best resisted by the riveting samples. Adhesive samples did not achieve the required load resistance because the adhesive did not have the correct adhesion to the substrate. Hybrid glued joints have also not reached the required quality. This was due to the cutting of the bottom of the joint with a pressing thread and the formation of an adhesion fracture.
Adhesion of Adhesive Joints for Facade Applications Made of Wood-based Materials
Nečasová, Barbora ; Schmid, Pavel (referee) ; Sedlák,, Petr (referee) ; Kovářová, Barbora (advisor)
The presented dissertation thesis is focused on investigating the adhesive properties of façade cladding made of wood and wood-based materials in combination with flexible adhesion/assembly systems. The systems allow the implementation of effective construction joints and provide a solution with uniform stress distribution which allows the transfer of heavy loads, while simultaneously reducing the weight of the entire structure, which is also often connected with substantial cost reductions. Despite all that, little attention has been paid to this area so far. It is not a solution which is properly embodied in technical standards or in designers´, architects´ and contractors´ awarenesses. The aim of this dissertation is to characterise adhesive properties of selected façade cladding representatives made of wood and wood-based materials for the purposes of bonded joint application in a ventilated façade system. To define adhesion of façade joints, numerical and experimental methods are used, taking also various limit conditions into account. The main conclusion of the dissertation is the characterisation of basic parameters which influence adhesion, effectiveness and quality of façade glued joints. The secondary conclusion is the compilation of a simple methodical procedure for testing and implementing façade glued joints. The dissertation also makes a contribution by extending the current state of knowledge of façade adhesive joints.
A comparison of different types of epoxy adhesives
Mihulka, Jan ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on a bonding technology. The first part describes the theory of the bonding and it is discussed the main areas of this technology. The experimental part deals with the comparison of four two-component epoxy adhesives in terms of shear strength. For the experiment it had been selected adhesives: Bison Epoxy Universal, Pattex Repair Epoxy Ultra Strong 5 min, Ergo 7430 and Letoxit LH 232. After performing the experiment, it was shown that Bison Epoxy Universal and Pattex Repair Epoxy Ultra Strong 5 min achieved the strengths stated in the datasheet. The strengths of Ergo 7430 and Letoxit LH 232 adhesives was lower than stated in their technological products, thefore, did not meet our expectations. The reason for not achieving the declared strength was probably poor dosing or insufficient mixing of ingredients.
Implementation of optical fibers with FBG elements into technical textiles
Zaytsev, Vsevolod ; Dejdar, Petr (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
(This bachelor thesis aims at a theoretical analysis of \acs{FBG} (\acl{FBG}), its use in telecommunications technology and the design of smart textiles based on FBG filters. The theoretical part of this work discusses the knowledge of FBG, their production and use, presents an overview of technical textiles and the current state of the market. Then the question of adhesive adhesives will also be described. The practical part is devoted to the design of smart textiles and the subsequent measurement of the dependence of the wavelengths of the built-in FBGs on their temperature.)
Study of the unit load and formation equipment for a material handling
Kadlec, Tomáš ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The study is focused on handling and forming devices for material handling. The work includes the division and categorization of these devices, including an overview of the devices used in each category. It also deals with an overview of normative requirements with laws concerning storage and molding equipment. A tabular overview is created in the attachment. It is a study analysis that takes the form of an educational study background.
Identification of milk and collagenous binders used in colour layers in art works
Kofroňová, Pavla ; Hrdličková Kučková, Štěpánka (advisor) ; Čapek Adamec, Martin (referee)
The task of this diploma thesis was to investigate the influence of inorganic pigments on the identification of casein oil and animal glue tempera by mass spectrometry MALDI- -TOF MS (Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionisation - Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry). First, it was necessary to prepare a set of model colour layers containing casein and animal glue tempera together with ten inorganic pigments. Consequently, the method of peptide mass fingerprinting was used to obtain mass spectra of the samples. Finally, it was possible to compare and determine the characteristic peptide fragments for both proteinaceous binders and find pigments that most affected the identification of casein and rabbit glue temperas. The obtained values of m/z casein oil tempera and animal glue tempera were used to improve and complete reference database of protein binders that is used to identify protein binders in works of art at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague.
