Interactive learning models for virtual reality
ŠESTÁK, Stanislav
The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the connection of virtual reality and the teaching of this technology in primary schools. The main goal of this work is the creation of three models with methodical creation procedures for teachers, familiarization with the environment of applications for creating virtual reality and applications for content creation. The theoretical work focuses on the relationship between virtual reality and the school environment (use in schools, etc.), further evaluates selected applications from the point of view of use in teaching and compares them with each other. The practical part of the thesis describes the process of creating three models, for which two different creation approaches were used. The first approach was to create a model using 3D scanning, and the second was to work with GIS-type data and edit it in Blender. The models and methodological procedures will be published under an open license. The work procedure and the use of models is applied (tested) in the framework of a sample teaching lesson at a primary school.
Story maps and their use in tourism
JANOTA, Ondřej
The bachelor thesis deals with the modern tool Story maps, which is part of the most widely used geographic software ArcGIS online, and its use in tourism. The thesis describes the process of creating and the structure of story maps. The output of the thesis is 6 story maps, which are used by the company Czech bike tours s.r.o. during its multi-day cycling trips in the Czech Republic.
3D vizualiazace a deep learning v mapách Stabilního katastru Čech
BLÁHA, Milan
This bachelor's thesis entitled "3D Visualization and Deep Learning in Maps of the Stable Cadastre of Bohemia" is devoted to several goals. The first one is to get acquainted with a stable cadastral map and deep learning. These terms are characterised and their meaning and other requisites are explained. Another aim of this thesis is to present the overall description of the monitored area and to cover its fundamental characteristics, historical development, physical-geographical aspects, population, settlements and a selected municipality. It also introduces the workflow of completing the practical part, which deals with the 2D and 3D visualizations of selected parts of the village of Nová Ves by Klikov, the Czech Republic. These visualisations are created on the basis of the original maps of the stable cadastre from 1827, and are made in ArcGIS Pro. Furthermore, the practical part of this thesis indicates possible practical use of these visualizations, maps of stable cadastre and deep learning.
Vývoj ploch vybraných zemědělských plodin v ČR
HLAVICA, Roman
This work deals with mapping the development of root crops in the Czech Republic. The purpose is to describe them, evaluate the development from 1920 to the present, the influences that led to changes in the development of root crops at a given time and mapping their development using ArcGIS. This work is divided into two stages. The first stage contains a literature search that describes the root crops in detail, the Geographic Information System (GIS). Methodology of data and data collection and description of their use. The second stage of this work contains a description of the effects on changes in the development of root crops over a period using the collected data and data, then their output in the form of a map created in GIS software.
Geodetic survey of the longitudinal profile of the selected cycle path and its comparison with other altimetry sources
NYIRI, Filip
This diploma thesis compares different geodetic measurement techniques, digital 1G surface model and digital relief models 4G, 5G with contour lines from the ZABAGED database, on a segment of the cycle path near the village Purkarec. One of the work objectives is to validate the quality of the altimetry accuracy of individual DMR when it is possible to verify the precision and reliability of individual technical reports based on calculations and statistical methods. Another objective is to compare own ground measurements and the application of altimetry analysis available on the ČÚZK website.
Modeling the impact of the potential anti-erosion measures in the selected area
KOKEJL, Karel
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of water erosion. Specifically, it is a matter of mitigating this process by applying an suitable anti-erosion measure. One of the goals of this work is that a suitable system of anti-erosion measures with a focus on technical anti-erosion measures is proposed for the selected area. Other technical aspects of implementation into the existing digital elevation model and verification of its functionality using the USLE equation in GIS (in this case in the ArcMap program) and modeling of povrchového runoff. In the theoretical parts of the work, the reader is acquainted with the basics of water erosion, detection of water erosion and anti-erosion hazards. Then it is introduced the introduction of the area of interest and the methodological procedure of the work, which is focused mainly on the calculation of erosion and dimensioning of anti-erosion measures.
Změny krajinného krytu na území Národního parku Podyjí
PĚNKA, Tomáš
In this diploma thesis, I studied land use and land cover changes in the territory of Podyjí National Park during a period of almost 80 years. The background data were obtained from black-and-white aerial pictures from 1952, 1974 and 1989 further supplemented by two vectorized layers from 1938 and 2014. The main trends in the studied areas were a substantial growth of forest areas, decrease of permanent grasslands, and the agricultural areas. Analyses using landscape metrics showed that closed forest cover increased from 66% to 75% between 1952, 1974 and 1989. Moreover, during the same time period the area of open woodlands decreased by 3% (from 10% to 7%). The obtained results also indicated the gradual homogenization of the landscape, with changes in forest management having the greatest impact. Such trend might be dangerous especially for rare species associated with open forest habitats.
Assessment of the evolutionary landuse and landcover changes in chosen parts of the Stropnice studied area
JIROUŠKOVÁ, Lenka
The ecologic explanation of term landscape is meant as the system of natural and fellow conditional elements those common relationships could be harmonic or unbalanced. The goal of studies in this conception is usually the structure, function and dynamics of the landscape. The most important factors causing the change of natural landscape into cultural landscape are agriculture and forestry. My work is aimed to show the landscape structure analysis results in the area of Bedřichovský potok basin. This area represents the example of very intensive agricultural used area of the south part of Czech Republic. Attachments of aerial pictures from years 1956, 2004, 2006 represents the course of changes of Czech landscape in second half of 20Th Century. On the basis of picture interpretation and GIS tools were quantified basic landscape usage types characteristics.
