Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with acetabular fracture diagnosis Author: Alena Šilhavá Supervisor: Mgr. Irena Novotná Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a detailed case study of a patient diagnosed with a condition following acetabular fracture, along with its theoretical background. Methods: The bachelor thesis was elaborated during the completion of continuous professional practice at the Rehabilitation Hospital in Beroun from 8. 1. 2024 2. 2. 2024. The thesis consists of a general and a specific part. The general part focuses on theoretical knowledge regarding the diagnosis of acetabular fracture and the possibilities of its treatment from both orthopedic and physiotherapeutic perspectives. The specific part includes the patient's medical history, initial kinesiological examination on the basis which a short-term and long-term therapeutic plan were made, followed by individual therapeutic units, an exit kinesiological examination and an evaluation of the therapy's effectiveness. Results: During the work with the patient, comprising 14 therapeutic units including initial and exit examinations, many positive changes occurred.
