This thesis called Landscape study with focus on the development of recreational land use is dealing with possibilities of recreation and its effects on the landscape. The theoretical part lists the basic forms of recreation and their characteristics and some mention the requirements on the land. The end of the theoretical part is dedicated to four example projects that aim to attract and increase the interest of the visitors in the landscape and the natural environment. Second part of the paper is dealing with the model area that is located in the natural park Chriby. Created design is based on the analysis and the found recreational potential of the area. The design consists of two parts: the first one is design of of agricultural landscape that aims to increase the recreational attractiveness and ecological stability, while the second part is dealing with preservation of recreational potential in the forests.
