Sports Center
Murínová, Bohuslava ; Utíkal, Aleš (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The subject of the master’s thesis is the development of project documentation for the construction of a Sports Center located in Liberec. The building is designed as partially basemented with two above-ground floors. The main entrance to the building is visually separated from the rest of the structure. Its shelter is formed by a balcony structure, which also serves as a space for a 3D logo. In the first above-ground floor, there is a gym with a reception, offices, separate changing rooms for women and men, and three rooms for strength training. The rooms are divided according to the types of training, such as conditioning, strength, cardio, etc. In the second above-ground floor, there is a yoga studio with a separate reception, a staff lounge, separate changing rooms for women and men, and three rooms for yoga practice. The room with a smaller area for yoga practice serves for more private lessons or massages. In the respective receptions, there are areas for exhibiting items for sale. In the basement, the technical facilities of the building and storage rooms are located. The foundation of the structure consists of concrete strips. The ceiling structures are reinforced concrete. The roofing is solved with a flat roof with an extensive green layer. The walls are made of ceramic polished masonry elements, except for the perimeter walls of the basement, which are made of formwork lost blocks. The building is insulated with an External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS).
Energy efficient boarding house in Havlíčkův Brod
Hlaváčová, Magda ; Hirš, Jiří (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The aim of this master‘s project is the design of an energy-efficient guest house with a restaurant located in Havlíčkův Brod. This master‘s project consists of three parts. The first part focuses on the architectural and structural design of the guest house, the second part on the design of building services and the third part on the comparison of software for creating the energy performance of a building. It is about the DEKSOFT program in the Energy module from the company DEK, a.s. and in the Energy 2020 program from Svoboda Software. The building is detached and has two above-ground floors. The ground floor contains a restaurant with an adjacent kitchen, an office, a utility room, an air condition room and an entrance hall with a reception and a staircase to the second floor. On the second floor there are six apartments and one common corridor. The structural system is designed from ceramic blocks with thermal insulation made of mineral wool. Horizontal load-bearing structures and stairs are designed from cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building has a flat service roof and flat extensive green roof. Heating is provided by a wood-fired solid fuel boiler located in the utility room. The building has mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. There are also photovoltaic panels on the flat roof of the building.
Kindergarten "U Mlékárny"
Pielesz, Dariusz ; Vystrčil, Jan (referee) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
The subject of the master’s thesis is to design a kindergarten, namely the preparation of design documentation for the building permission, then the design of the building services and the thermal assessment of selected structural details. The kindergarten is located on a flat brownfield of a former dairy near the centre of Český Těšín. The building's surrounding area consists of apartment houses, a sports hall and a gardening colony. The kindergarten is designed for a total of 36 children in two classes. There are also dedicated spaces for physical activities, workshops, and an activity classroom. The building has 2 air handling units providing mechanical ventilation. Some of the rooms are cooled by air-conditioned. The heat source is heating water from the hot water district heating system, which is transferred by a pressure-independent heat exchanger unit. Sun breaker are installed on the south façade, other windows have external blinds. The building uses rainwater for flushing. The eastern part is two-storey with a flat roof with photovoltaic power plant, the western part is one-storey with a flat extensive green roof. The structural system is designed as a masonry wall system made of aerated concrete blocks, the floor structure is made of pre-stressed concrete panels. The staircase is made of aerated concrete. There is also a lift. The building is designed as wheelchair accessible. The thesis included 2D and 3D designs of three structural details. Subsequently, they were thermally assessed for thermal bridge (linear thermal transmittance and temperature coefficient) using Deksoft software.
