Leisure time of parents of children with severe disability and multiple handicap
FRIŠ, Martin
The thesis deals with specific aspects of leisure time in parents of children with severe combined disabilities. The research involved 6 mothers of children with severe combined disabilities. It turns out that these mothers do not have free time or can only implement it to a minimum. If they use the support of members of the immediate family or the services of a day care center in which their children go to school, they can focus on themselves after household chores or dedication to the other child. At that moment, engaged in recreational sports, art techniques or fulfilling the need for sleep. Mothers as the biggest obstacle to the realization of leisure time presents the complete absence of special social services.
