Simulation of solar cells using
Frydrych, Michal ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
This thesis deals with problems of production of an electric energy by the help of photovoltaic panels. There is mentioned an analysis of problems at calculation of solar system for “island” operation of house, description of all partial segments needed for photovoltaic system and analysis of final costs on purchase of this system. A point of this thesis was making a model of house which used the photovoltaic panels for its function. On this created model was made a measuration during a common day at laboratory conditions and determination the important parameters of solar panel.
Experimental 600 W self-oscillating flyback switching power supply
Darida, Slavomír ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
Self-oscillating flyback converters are popular circuits due to their simplicity, robustness and low cost of components. They are generally used as low power devices. Mobile phone charger is good example of application. Realization of 600 W self-oscillating flyback converter is main goal of this thesis.
Cryptids
Dvořáková, Dana ; Turek, Filip (referee) ; Sterec, Pavel (advisor)
Cryptids, video which is studying animals, its shapes, moves and the environment , where they find themselves. The video is looking equal to all entity without any difference, document varied life as same as passing death or rot as well. It also speaks about collaboration and the microworld, which creates perfect unit. Silent mutual conversations.
Experimental Hardware Musical Instrument Combining Electronic and Electromechanical Sound Source
Pešán, Michele ; Indrák, Michal (referee) ; Dlouhý, Dan (advisor)
Student is to design and realize experimental electroacoustic hardware musical instrument; it can be find experimental because of its unusual quality of produced sound, extraordinary way of operating the instrument, or its looks.
Electroacoustic Hardware Musical Instrument - Sampler with Unusual Controlers
Dudáš, Martin ; Indrák, Michal (referee) ; Dlouhý, Dan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and implementation of an electroacoustic hardware instrument with unusual controls. The experimentalism of the instrument consist of, for example, parameter control based on surrounding light or parameter control by hand movement. The main part of the instrument is the Arduino development board, which controls the Sunvox modular synthesizer on the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. Communication between the Arduino and the synthesizer takes place via MIDI messages. The software part is programmed in the Arduino IDE development environment in C++.
Verification of the original technologies used for art castings
Hřebíček, Lukáš ; Mrázek, Martin (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is describing making of the same art casting by using different foundry technologies/ moulds (ceramic shell mould, several types of plaster moulds including anhydride gypsum and also natural sand mould). In this thesis there is also description of casting the famous piece of bull from “Byci skala” (Bull Rock). The bull was cast into traditional clay mould which is believed to be the original technology. Also the original shape of the bull casting was reconstructed, i.e. a copy of the original bull casting made. As the main achievement of this work is an overview and comparison of several technologies suitable for making art castings.

Experimental film and video in the second half of the 20th century in didactical context
Černá, Tereza ; Arbanová, Linda (advisor) ; Čech, Viktor (referee)
Černá, T.: Experimental film and video in the second half of the 20th century in didactical context. [Master's thesis] Prague 2016 - Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, 95 p. (Attachments: art work of pupils and my own art work on DVD). This Master's thesis is a theoretical study in which I explore the connections between moving pictures - experimental film and video art - and the developments in fine art in the second half of the 20th century. In the thesis I look into the topic of moving pictures, their specific characteristics and the distinctions between them, and I define the basic concepts. Based on selected key figures who linked experimental film, video art and fine art, I describe the key approaches and principles that emerged in relation to this field, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The teaching section presents three projects designed for and taught in art lessons, based on the work of some of the selected artists. The projects test the theoretical insights from the thesis through art lessons taught to schoolchildren aged 11 to 15. The thesis also comprises an art project, reflecting the insights obtained from the theoretical study, which became the platform for my own videos.
