The pavilion in the zoo Lešná

The subject of the diploma thesis is a processed design of a steel construction of a pavilion shaped by spherical segments. The pavilion has exhibition purpose as a part of the zoological garden Lešná, and is intended for African beasts. The design meets architectonical requests - roundness and luminosity. A shape of the pavilion consists of three intersecting cupolas with a frontal curved cut out for glass facade. Construction of the pavilion consists of the radial arranged arched ribs with transversal bars, which are supplemented by horizontal purlins. Forehead of the pavilion is formed by columns and girts. Cladding is designed in combination: aluminum profile and insulated glass. Comparison of alternative steel structure solutions is also a part of the diploma thesis.

Examination of the kidneys and urinary tract in radiodiagnostic medicine and in nuclear medicine

Title: Examination of kidneys and urinary tract in radiodiagnostics and nuclear medicine Theoretical part: The theoretical part of the thesis describes 3 chapters. At the beginning, the anatomy of the kidneys and urinary tract is briefly described. Subsequently, the basic diseases that we may find by patient are notified. Finally, are described the most common examination methods that can be used to image the diseases of kidneys and urinary tract in radio diagnostics and nuclear medicine. These mostly it means examinations via ultrasonography, X-ray examinations, computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging etc. In nuclear medicine we are using a kidney scintigraphy. Aim of the work: The aim of the work is to analyse individual imaging methods used for examination in kidney and urinary tract diseases. The research question is based on the empirical part: Is the general public sufficiently informed about the presence of kidney disease? Methods: A quantitative survey was determined for the processing of the empirical part of the work. This is a questionnaire method that was completely anonymous, and the results were intended only as research for my bachelor's thesis. Respondents answered a total of 16 questions. These were mostly questions that were supposed to find how sufficiently general public is informed about the problem. The questionnaire also included questions about the respondent's experience with the disease and with examination methods. Subsequently, the results were processed into graphs. Results: A total of 100 respondents of different ages were contacted, the most of them were women aged 20-30. Although the research is aimed at the general public, health professionals have been involved as well. It was found that almost half of the respondents had experience with the urological diseases in the past. Almost everyone stated that it was an inflammation of the urinary tract or bladder. Urinary tract infections are among the most common diseases, which has been confirmed by research as well. The main topic was the awareness of lay public. The results were clear, the general public is informed about the problem on average level. Respondents mostly answered correctly, although they did not know answer of the professional questions. Only health professionals provided the correct answer to these questions. Conclusions: Urological diseases are very common, the most women have problems with them. Therefore, these diseases and examination methods are recorded in the form of a bachelor's thesis. The bachelor's thesis should serve as a teaching material of the urological system and its individual examinations. It could help students or patients who want to learn more about the issue.

Limits of Legal Obligation of Attorney's Confidentiality in Criminal Proceedings

1 Limits of Legal Obligation of Attorney`s Confidentiality in Criminal Proceedings Abstract The legal obligation of attorney's confidentiality imposed by the law is currently not only mentioned in professional discussions. However, the increased attention paid to this institute does not support it. There is a growing belief that it is being misused for the benefit of an attorney or for concealing criminal and other delict activity, resulting in increased pressure from the state to violate confidentiality obligations. This manifests itself in systematic or individual attempts to break it, or it leads to refusal of protection of the confidential relationship between an attorney and his client, which is a prerequisite for providing legal assistance. The thesis describes in detail the meaning and purpose of the institute of attorney's duty of confidentiality and its position in the legal order. Its attention is focused especially on the area of the criminal law in which it is most threatened and therefore the application and protection of this institute in criminal proceedings is analyzed in detail. In order that the meaning of the above-mentioned provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure can be concisely clarified, this is done in the thesis primarily from the practical point of view. The leaving examinations in the 19th century and at the beginning of 20th century

A short information on the structure of the leaving examinations at all types of secondary schools in Bohemian countries in the period of 1848 - 1918. The core of the paper lies in the collection of prototypical examples of exams in mathematics, taken out from the annual reports of secondary schools from the period of 1864 - 1907, specifically the c. k. Academic grammar school in Prague 1, the c. k. Czech state real school in Karlín and the c. k. Czech real grammar school in Prague 2. There were chosen the years in which the comparison of all three types of schools was possible.

Entrance examinations at Prague Technical University in the last century

The paper is devoted to the history of entrance examinations at the Prague Technical University in the period of 1864 - 1950. The reasons of the setting the entrance procedure are clared up and the process of the entrance examination is described. Statistic tables of the students successfulness and unsuccessfulness and the demonstration of examination examples are added to the text.
