Předpoklady úspěšné reprodukce prasnic
Doubravská, Sára
The bachelor thesis deals with the prerequisites for successful reproduction of sows. In the introductory part, the thesis focuses on the importance of reproduction and the distribution of reproductive traits. The main part describes the physiological course of reproductive traits and the influences that affect them. Furthermore, pregnancy and parturition, their physiological processes are described. Then, the factors that influence the reproductive performance of breeding sows are described. In the final part, the bachelor thesis deals with the current level of reproductive indices in the Czech Republic.
Zhodnocení inseminace u ovcí s využitím kvality cervikálního hlenu
Čaky, František
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the quality of cervical mucus in relation to insemination. This thesis describes the different methods leading to the detection of the optimal time for insemination, i.e. estrus detection, methods of sheep synchronization and methods of sheep insemination. In the practical part, reproductive indices related to insemination, cervical mucus arborization and from this determination of the optimal time for insemination and the amount and other properties of cervical mucus were evaluated.
Use of insemination in beef cattle herds
JANIŠ, Marek
This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the use of insemination in a selected herd of beef cattle. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis characterizes the concepts related to the topic. It describes the anatomy and physiology of the cow, insemination and methods, genomics and current and future trends in the field of insemination. The practical part interprets and evaluates the results of the analysis, which are based on the cow's passport cards and the record of the performance check.
Factors affecting oetrous cycles in the house mouse (Mus musculus)
Havrdová, Leona ; Stopka, Pavel (advisor) ; Němec, Pavel (referee)
Factors affecting oetrous cycles in the house mouse (Mus musculus) Abstract This bachelor thesis deals with factors which have significant influence on house mouse (Mus musculus) oestrous cycle. Main theme is oestrous cycle modulation caused by male or female chemical signals. Familiar phenomena like Bruce effect, Whitten effect and Lee-Boot effect are described in detail along with newly explored social modulation issues (ovulation trigger, male genotype role etc.). Environmental impact is also included, especially role of Bisphenol A in connection with negative impacts on human reproduction (tested on mice). Key words: oestrus, pheromone, MUP, Mus musculus, vomeronasal organ
Vyhodnocení růstu folikulů u klisen
Baková, Lenka
The mare is in our geographic region a seasoned polyestrial animal. Due to human care, some mares can also suppress seasonality. Many factors, both internal and external, are responsible for folliculogenesis, or the development of ovarian follicles. Folliculogenesis is hormonal controlled. It is significantly influenced by the photoperiod, which, by its prolongation, stimulates the production of the relevant hormones. Both can be influenced by both. However, there are other factors that influence this process. This work was mainly focused on the influence of temperament, environment, length of oestrus processes, previous pregnancy, age and stress. In this work, it was found that, for example, in the case of cold-blooded mares, the size of the ovulatory follicle was greater than that of the thoroughbred mares, or that in younger mares the average size of the ovulatory follicle was greater than in the oldest group.

Reproduction as an intensifying factor in the breed of pigs
PROVAZNÍKOVÁ, Alena
The aim of this work was to discover weak points and their impacts on breeding of pigs. It consequently suggests a successful management of company in the field of reproduction and nutrition of pigs. The work is focused on basic physiological and technological assumptions about reproduction of pigs and it deals with the oestrus, ovulation, classifying gilts for breeding, the onset of estrus after weaning piglets, the usage of natural methods and controlled reproduction, the usage of wet nurses sows systems, artificial insemination and current physiology of the reproductive cycle of the sow. A separate chapter of the work is focused on the nutrition and feeding of individual categories of pigs intended for reproduction (breeding boars, gilts, dimpling, pregnant and lactating sows) because nutrition has a huge impact on the breeding. Another chapter discusses about technological conditions and it deals with the diet of pigs as well as with the stable environment which is mentioned mainly from a technological point of view. The final part of the work is devoted with the development of reproduction during the last period and it concludes recommendations in the practical usage, mainly in the field of reproduction and rearing piglets.
Reproduction in intensification factor pig
TROJÁKOVÁ, Hana
Základním faktorem ovlivňující chov prasat je reprodukce a její intenzita. Intenzitu reprodukce lze ovlivnit vnějšími a vnitřními faktory, které zvíře obklopují. Z vnějších faktorů se jedná o roční období, výživu a způsoby ustájení z vnitřních genetické dispozice, zdravotní stav, kondice a v neposlední řadě plemeno prasete. Velká pozornost je v moderních chovech věnována hygieně chovu, chovným podmínkám a kondici zvířat. Hygiena chovu a zdravotní stav zvířat je ukazatelem kvality chovu. Velikost vrhu, četnost vrhu a životnost selat vypovídá o kvalitě výživy, stimulaci říje a inseminaci.
