Posibilities and Needs of Information and Computer Technologies Exploitation by integrated rescue system
Milošic, Tomáš ; Polívka, Lubomír (referee) ; Novák, Jaromír (advisor)
This work illustrates and discusses the fundamental theoretical and practical problems of using information and computer technologies, and analyzes the possibilities of forwarding information and data about emergency situations towards forces and resources of the Integrated Rescue System and among the regional emergency operational centers of the integrated system. Its content is focused on addressing and eliminating these problems through a modernization that can be made by the adoption of projects that use advanced computer and communication technologies. The implementation of these technologies at all regional operational centers of basic bodies of the Integrated Rescue System is an absolute necessity. Information and computer technologies would enable the realization of the objectives and purposes of the integrated rescue system after the implementation of the common modern architectures in the future.

The bachelor thesis covers personal contribution to emergency call centers upgrading considering higher effect. The thesis presents unique chance to participate in controlled calls with emergency call centers operators resulting in gathering valuable information. The thesis also includes short population research targeted at knowledge and skills in order to get emergency call information needed.
Use of supporting technologies at operational and informational centers of the integrated rescue system
MERTLÍK, Josef
The aim of diploma thesis on the topic "Use of assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system" is to evaluate the possibility of using assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system of the South Bohemian region. In my diploma thesis I first focus on the theoretical part, where basic information about the integrated rescue system and the fire brigade is summarized through professional literature, laws, and decrees. I also conducted a search of available professional sources. In the theoretical part, I also listed the most commonly used assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system. In the research part, I first focused on a survey of the opinions of the staff of the Operations and Information Centre of the Fire and Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region on the use of assistive technologies through a questionnaire survey. Furthermore, in this part I deal with the analysis of types and subtypes of events for which it would be appropriate or inappropriate to use supporting technologies, namely, to compile an automatic technology designer. I compiled an analysis of statistics of departures and events in 2021, compiled into graphical summaries. From the evaluated answers to the given questions, it is evident that most operational technicians and officers agree with the introduction of assistive technologies. Likewise, the overall analysis shows the benefits for the use of an automatic technology designer. The contribution of this diploma thesis is the use of processed information at the operational and information centre of the Fire and Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region.
Cardiopulmonary emergency resuscitation by the general public
SOKOLT, Jakub
The thesis focuses on the problematic of providing cardiopulmonary emergency resuscitation by general public. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with identification of sudden cardiac arrest and most common causes of it. Furthermore, it deals with emergency resuscitation, first aid principles and emergency calls. Great emphasis is placed on the recommended practices for emergency resuscitation in adults and in child with cardiac arrest. Recommended practices focus, among other things, on the speciffic situations such as airway obstruction and drowning. The last theoretical part of thesis deals with the automated external defibrillator (further AED) and its operation by lay rescuer. The empirical part pursues two objectives. The first one is to map the knowledge of cardiopulmonary emergency resuscitation in adult patients. The second objective is to map the knowledge of cardiopulmonary emergency resuscitation in child patients. For the empirical part of the thesis the qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews was chosen. The research sample was made up of 8 non-selected members of the general public in the area of South Bohemian Region and Vysočina Region. Results were then categorized into 13 categories. Results show that questioned general public has significant shortcomings in recommended Basic life support practices. All questioned informants agreed they would welcome educational programs which would increase the knowledge of Basic life support practices of lay people.

The Work of an Operator of Emergency Medical Service
MITTNER, Viktor
This bachelor thesis mostly dealt with the activity of medical controllers as well as the issues of medical operative center in general. Many people don´t know what it is all in all. It is only undemanding sitting at the table and answering the phone for most people. I would like to point out the facts related to this profession and refuted this claim of the majority. This thesis mentions the medical operation center, its history in the Czech Republic, and it is interested in its tasks, layout and equipment. There are also mentioned the activities of emergency medical service-controllers themselves, including their education or criminal responsibility. Emphasis is also placed on the stress on medical service-controllers in the performance of this profession. A large part of the work is devoted to taking the emergency call, telephone-assisted emergency resuscitation and telephone-assisted first aid. Mapping the theoretical knowledge of medical service-controllers and finding out the individual procedures for providing the telephone-assisted resuscitation of both, adults and children, was one of the aims of this bachelor thesis. Another goal was to determine the satisfaction of service-controllers within the performance of their profession. There was performed a qualitative research using the interview technique. The interview included knowledge and satisfaction with this profession as well as the issues of telephone-assisted resuscitation of adults and children. According to the results of this survey there was found that the medical service-controllers are not sufficiently prepared to perform this profession immediately after the graduating their studies. They use the same or very similar procedures within their telephone-assisted resuscitation of an adult or child. The survey also shows they are satisfied with their job.
