Services of electronic tolling system in the Czech republic

The goal of this Master's thesis is to describe the services in the electronic tolling system in the Czech republic with a focus on services of financial intermediaries and customer services center, with which come users in contact most frequently. In the capture "Electronic tolling system" are on the base of the analyzed literature presented the technological approaches to construct the electronic tolling systems, a legislative framework for them and the characterization of the Czech tolling system. The section devoted to the services of financial intermediaries describes the institutional framework of their operations, selected products of them and considerate about possible form of their products in term of the European tolling service. The capture dedicated to customer services center describe its position within the system, its organizational structure and on the base of users requirements frequency describes the most common questions of them. On the end of the capture considerate about possible forms of its functions in terms of European interoperable tolling system. The conclusion summarizes the information from all the captures and its assessing the meets of individual objectives
Economy and efficiency analysis of electronic toll in the Czech Republic

Diploma thesis presents information about electronic toll system in the Czech Republic with the gist being aimed on economy and effectiveness of the system in use. The theme is discussed in separate parts, where the first part consists of explanation of basic terms about road infrastructure, toll system and its functionality in the Czech Republic. Next part is revealing information about public sector and its economy, efficiency and effectiveness that are essential for measuring public sector, and its administrative costs. In the analytical part is evaluated economy of electronic toll with the usage of findings from administrative costs of electronic toll and with its earning. Electronic toll is analyzed as well from the view where are put into comparison domestic and foreign and their weight on the toll and as well from the view of the amount of truck carriers that were using Czech road system before and after electronic toll was introduced. Part of the analysis compares the administrative costs of electronic toll with administrative costs of other taxes in the Czech Republic and it compares systems of electronic tolling in chosen neighboring countries.
Elektronické mýtné v České republice a možnosti jeho budoucího využití

Electronic Fee Collection (EFC) is spread almost all over the Europe. Its main duty is to collect fees by on board units. The system of electronic toll does not need to be inevitably only a tool for fee collection. The combination of DSRC and DNSS systems might bring new horizons in terms of telematic data usable for wide variety of services. This diploma thesis in its theoretical part deals with electronic toll systems in general and shows how the system works in chosen countries of Europe. Special focus is on Czech toll system, its implementation and evaluation of its economic contributions year after year. From this point of view, the Czech system works fully. In practical part, the focus is on widening of the system functionality. At this moment, the on board units works only as a tool for collecting fees. However, thanks to combination of microwave and satellite system, the on board unit could become also a very intelligent tool for collecting of telematic data.
