Laboratory regulated ballast with USB interface
Nepor, František ; Král, Bohumil (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
Design and realisation of electronic regulated ballast with USB interface. The ballast has three functions: constant I, constant U and constant R. This device is intended for example to measure discharge curves of accumulators.
Mobile germicidal source
Procházka, Michal ; Murina, Milan (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
Germicidal light is a type of UV light which is able to kill bacteries and microorganisms. These germicidal lamps usually operate on the same principle like common fluorescent lamps but they emit the different spectra. For higher efficiency and longer lamp life it is desirable to use electronic ballast as a source for germicidal lamp which in version of integrated circuit offers further advantages. First part of the thesis describes the theory of UV desinfection and electronic ballasts. The second part is about the construction of the mobile germicidal source. In the last part of the thesis there is the germicidal mobile source tested against a few various mildews.
Regulated power supply 50V/5A
Herman, Tomáš ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis deals with the adjustable DC voltage source. The first part deals about the typical involvement of resources and consequently the properties of individual components resources. The second part is the actual design of control circuits, selection of components, wiring and PCB design.
Measurement of Discharge Light Sources Parameters
Štěpánek, Jaroslav ; Krbal, Michal (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor’s thesis is to provide a summary about discharge lights sources. It deals with their light and electric qualities. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part pays attention to the construction of light sources; it provides information about photometric parameters and explores the connections the light sources into the power network. It describes the discharge lamp subtypes and subcategories. In practical part the quality of light sources is measured and the following results of measurement are evaluated.
