Zhodnocení současného chodu vybrané ekologické farmy a návrh na rozšíření podnikatelských aktivit

The bachelor thesis is focused on an evaluation of functioning of a specific organic farm and recommends extensions of its business activities. The theoretical part describes the meaning and basic principles of organic farming and shows the main conditions necessary for the functioning of organic farms. It describes the current state of ecological production in the Czech Republic, including funds for organic farming. The practical part describes the functioning of the farm and its activities in the region. A SWOT analysis is drawn for evaluation also. The conclusion draws a business plan for extension of the farms production activities and its benefits and risks. Chosen farm is compared with similar subjects abroad.

Switchover the farm from conventional to ecological agriculture

The purpose of my bachelor´s work is to suggest the project of switching the concrete farm from conventional to ecological agriculture. The model farm is situated in the village Lomnice nad Lužnicí, in the area Třeboňsko, and it is engaged in crop farming and also in livestock farming. After studies of technical literature, some detail informations about management in the farm were obtained and the suggest, how to carry out the conversion with minimal costs, was made. The impact of conversion on farm´s economy is theoretically evaluated in the end of this work.
