Development of organic orcharding in the Czech Republic - current state and perspective

This work was based on the topic development of organic horticulture in the Czech republic. The aim was to evaluate the development of organic horticulture in the Czech Republic and the applicable legal standards, predictions of future develop-ments. There is reviewed the current status of organic farming. There was surveyed by using a questionnaire about farming and views and ideas of organic fruit growers about the current legislation. I observed anticipated development under the Action Plan. According to the responses organic farming is now impossible to farm without subsidies. Another possible extension of the work would be talking with the orchar-dist a personal hearing, because the returning of the questionnaire was very low.
