Impact of changes in subsidies on European level on organic farm - case study

The bachelor's thesis deals with subsidies received by an agricultural enterprise in the period 2014-2020. The agricultural enterprise operates in the regime of organic farming in the PLA Slavkovský les and ANC mountain type areas - 3 in the Karlovy Vary region. It has been in private ownership since 1993 and in 2011 it was decided to switch from a conventional farming system to an organic one due to the subsidy motivation for organic farmers. With the beginning of the new programming period of the Common Agricultural Policy for the years 2023-2027, the work presents new, but also ongoing subsidy titles, which the company will be able to receive, including their more detailed definitions.

The goal of this bachelor thesis to delineate a structure of production on a selected organic farm in the Jeseník region. The introductory part of the thesis analyses organic farming itself with its principles and conditions, which are applied in this mode of farming. Subsequently, the Jeseník region is described, as well as the selected organic farm and its structure of production. Based on findings from the field and literature, conclusions are drawn and qualitative measures are proposed to optimize production on this particular organic farm.
Možnosti rozvoje ekofarmy v mikroregionu Konicko

The aim of the thesis is to analyze organic farm AMALTHEA, s.r.o. in terms of its strategic focus, and based on the results of the survey of the views of consumers be able to suggest the possibility of its development in the conditions of the microregion Konice. The bindings of organic agriculture on the sustainable development of the region were defined, as well as the importance of a small business in the regional development with a focus on organic farming. By using a questionnaire the survey was conducted, and subsequently obtained the primary information, based on which the options were proposed to the market evaluation of the production of organic farms, and the subsequent AMALTHEA, s.r.o. has recommendations for its development. All findings including proposals are presented at the end of the work.

It focuses on the motivation for nonconventional methods of agriculture, tells the story of their business, explores and compares the different aspects that may play an important role in bringing holistic picture of Czech organic farming after 1989. The organic farming in a study region of the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of ecological agriculture. The first part of the thesis introduces the topic and explains the basic terms of ecological farming. It is also focused on the development of ecological agriculture in the Czech Republic and in Europe. The basic principles, legislation and general labelling of organic food is also describes in there. The second part of the thesis deals with the ecological agriculture in selected region of the Czech Republic. The region has been analysed based on the structure of agricultural land resources and as well as the structure of farms. The questionnaire survey has been used and provided to certain eco-farmers. The data, about the structure of cultivated plants and animal husbandry, their production and sales, costs of eco-farming and the economic situation of farms in general, has been collected and processed. In the final part of the thesis, the fundamental problems, which eco-farmers have to face, are mentioned, and the possible solutions are suggested.
Agritourism in Novohradské hory mountains and its foothills

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current state of the agritourism in the region of Novohradské mountains and their foothills. Further assessment of the structure of the assumptions for the development of agritourism, the identification of needs and the barriers to business development in selected rural areas. The main attention was paid to the creation of the design section, on the basis of field investigation. Off the investigation took place in the form of questionnaires aimed at entrepreneurs in tourism ventures in the chosen area. The results are specific proposals to improve the prerequisites for agro-tourism and agrotourism farm's own proposal.

Market of selected organic commodities (organic meat)

This thesis deals with the organic livestock production in South Bohemian region. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the South Bohemian organic meat production, production of eggs and honey and distribution of the biocommodities. Through the processing of data from the database IAEI and questionnaire survey, conducted at the level of organic farmers farming in the South Bohemian region with a valid certificate for meat production, development and the current market situation of organic meat production were assessed in the South Bohemian region.
Agrotourism in selected microregions (Benešovsko)

The analysis of the present level of the agrotourism/ecoagrotourism development in the microregions Blanik and Podblanicko. In this work the potency of the tourist trade in connection with these microregions are characterized and some farms are closely introduced. According to the questionnaire research the situation on the ecological farms has been analysed and the community interest in the agrotourism/ecoagrotourism, has been studied.
