How important is reputation? Superstar effect in NHL

This bachelor thesis concerns professional sports market specifics and examines the influence of reputation on individual`s wage. This influence is examined through regression analysis with the data from NHL season 2010-2011. Reputation is measured with ranking of the most drafted players in the online game "Fantasy NHL online" and by player's participation in the "all-star game". A significant positive influence of reputation on player's wage is discovered. That implies existence of the "superstar effect" in NHL.

The next part is about specific sporting facilities. The aim of thesis is evaluation of the management of sports facilities with economic indicators and analysis.
