Analysis of the issue dyslalia of preschool children from the perspective of parents

The bachelor thesis deals with the current problem of dyslalia in preschool children. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters, which contain a theoretical basis for the issues addressed. The first chapter defines communication, impaired communication ability and presents the field of speech therapy and speech therapist, as a key person who corrects the impaired communication ability. The practical part deals with the attitude of parents to the issue of dyslalia in preschool children. A questionnaire survey and a semi-structured interview were used for data collection. The research survey contains a sample of 178 respondents - parents and a related interview with a teacher in a mainstream kindergarten with more than 30 years of experience. The research survey shows that there is no connection between the level of knowledge and information and the level of education of the addressed parent, and no further connection was found in the additional analyzes. According to the results of the survey, but also according to experts, it depends primarily on the parent, his conscientiousness and responsibility.
Effect of breastfeeding and early feeding on the development of articulation difficulties

The diploma thesis is on a special pedagogical topic with a specializatin on the field of speech therapy. In its theoretical part, it summarizes the findings on the development of speech in early and preschool children, also focuses on the connection between breastfeeding and other methods of feeding at an early age, the development of the orofacial system and the development of articulation of individual sounds. The practical part presents research of a qualitative nature. It contains information from interviews with mothers of children who have been diagnosed with dyslalia. Based on the grounded theory, the obtained information was processed and research conclusions were created. Problem of the dyslalia is the main target of this graduation thesis . It's based on the value of dyslalia 1. st. school year. The teoretical part provides knowledges, which deales with this issue. It's especially based on the basic terms: communication, communication disorder, communication with the relationship to RVP PV a RVP ZV. The main part of the teoreticial part pursue of the komplex proccesing dyslalia problem (classification, symptomatology, etiology, diagnosis and therapy), graduation thesis is also pursue of dyslalia problems and it's possible impacts on life (dyslalia and school, children with impaired articulation and teacher, dyslalia's social and psychological consequences). The practical part is prepared on the basis of the survay. For this survay it was used the quantitative research methods. The Survay respondents were student's parents. Determine approximate values of dyslalia occurrence in the first school year was the main target of this practical part.
Monitoring of the influence of the English language education on the articulation development of child

This thesis outlines the problem of the influence of English language development in preschool articulation. The theoretical part is devoted to the development of speech and articulation, as I present a comparison between the formation of Czech and English sounds. The third chapter describes the problems of articulation disorders including articulation problems most common in preschool children. Conclusion theoretical part consists of chapter, which deals with teaching English in kindergarten. Evaluates the pros and cons of this teaching. As part of the research in the practical part of the thesis I focused on the examination of language pre-school children. Important was also the interview with the English teacher. The aim of my thesis was to evaluate the level of articulation in preschool children receiving instruction in English language. Survey I conducted twice at intervals of six months. The results rather confirmed my suspicion that the development can be influenced by the pronunciation of English teaching at preschool age.
Efficiency of speech therapy by children before entering the first grade of primary school

The thesis summaries knowledge from special education and logopdia. In theoretical part there are described the basic concepts of communication disability, development of speech, preschool age and speech therapy. It explaines theoretical context, compares the different approaches and differences in terminology and introduces the issue. The practical part discusses progress and results of research.

The bachelor's thesis entitled "Speech therapy for dyslalia in first-graders" is from the field of special pedagogy. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of communication skills in children of younger school age. It focuses on the speech therapy issues of dyslalia and the associated postponement of school attendance. The theoretical part of the work includes the definition of basic terms associated with the field of speech therapy, impaired communication skills, dyslalia described in more detail and finally summarized the basic aspects for the child's entry into school. The practical part includes qualitative research. The aim of the practical part of the work is the analysis of the issue of dyslalia in first graders after a year's postponement of school attendance. The form of case studies for the monitored group of children was used for the elaboration of the research survey. Phonological abilities of children with dyslalia in preschool age

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of phonological abilities of children with dyslalia in preschool age. The main goal of the thesis lies therefore in the analysis of the phonological abilities of the stated target group. Based on the main goal, partial objectives and research questions were defined. A method of qualitative research strategy - a case study was used to fulfil the objectives of the thesis. To gather the data, test methods and analysis of the available documents were used. To create a comprehensive picture of the monitored children, the methods mentioned above were supplemented with an interview with a clinical speech therapist. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of key terms such as communication, communication skills, as well as the development of speech, language and communication. In this chapter, attention is paid also to a preschool child. The second chapter describes the issue of phonological abilities, which are presented in the context of the phonetic- phonological language level. The last chapter looks into the issue of dyslalia. The empirical part is then devoted to the description of the whole process of the research survey....
Manifestations in the language levels of first class pupils at reglat elementary

The diploma thesis "Manifestations in the language levels of the 1st grade pupils of the regular elemntary school" consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with general terms from the area of speech and language development, describes the development of motor skills, auditory and visual perception. Furthermore, it describes individual language levels and the most common types of speech disorders encountered in primary school pupils. The research part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of speech manifestations on individual levels of pupils of the first grade of the regular elementary school. The partial aim of the research is to analyze the gross, fine and oromotorics of the examined children, to analyze their auditory and visual perception and to analyze the quality of all language levels. School readiness of children with dyslalia

Bachelor thesis has a goal to recapitulate current knowledge of school readiness and dyslalia problematics. Children with speech disorder, dyslalia attending main educational stream kindergartens were chosen on purpouse of research. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on school readiness problematics and defines this concept. It also deals with dyslalia, its diagnosis and therapy. Conclusion of the theoretical part focuses on speech disorders prevention. The thesis follows up connection between school readiness and above- mentioned speech disorder. In particular individuals, it examines the current state of school readiness and assesses dyslalia problem areas. Quality reasearch was used in the thesis. Research information has been elaborated in case study design. For better clarity the dates are presented in charts. Main monitored areas are motorics, speech and auditory perception. Other areas related to school readiness, such as visual perception, perception of space and time, mathematical concepts, physical condition, ability to work and emotional maturity, were also monitored.
