Design dynamického sezení určeného pro veřejný prostor

The main task of the author of the diploma thesis is to create dynamic sitting used for public space. Dynamic of the sitting is achieved by the posibility of changing positions during the sitting by shaping seating part. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the main requirements for furniture used in public space, evolution and problematic of dynamic sitting. The practical part is focused on design, which consists of research and design studies in the form of shetches and 3D visualizations. Model in 1:1 scale formed on the basis of design and constructional solutions is the result of the own part of the thesis.

The main aim of the thesis is the design of a seating element dedicated to interior. The first theoretical part is focused on the historical development of the session, typology, ergonomics and problems arising from incorrect long-term sitting. Furthermore, the safety and dynamics of the seat element are emphasized. The second part of the thesis includes the design of the balancing chair, which is presented by sketches, visualization and technical drawings. In conclusion, there is a detailed description of the creation of a functional prototype.

The thesis deals with the design of a seating element with a focus on healthy sitting. This sitting is by tilting the seat so that the spine is deflected correctly. The seating element is designed for use in the so-called semi-sitting semi-seat, ie using a higher, sometimes inclined table. The work has two parts. The first one focuses on theory, history, sitting issues, ergonomics and the influence of sitting on human health. The second practical part deals with the design, searches, stages of the seating element such as sketching, 3D modeling, production of the working model, seating test and finally production of the functional sample. The result is a seating design that allows a healthy sitting.

The main contents of the diploma thesis is the design of sitting furniture with a focus on dynamic sitting. Dynamics sitting is achieved here by possibility to tilt forward the sitting element. The work is divided into two main parts. The first deals with the theory, especially with the sitting issue, ergonomics, alternative sitting, safety, history of sitting furniture and the review of used materials. The second part is focused on the design, consisting of research and each stage of design. That means sketching, 3D modeling, production of a working model and prototyping. The result is a design of sitting furniture, allowing dynamic sitting.

The task of the author of this thesis is to propose a design of rocking chair, which will be conditioned by the rules of a healthy active sitting and will allow changes of positions and versatility of use for different types of activities. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part deals with the design, sitting and its impact on the human body, ergonomics, dynamic sitting, rocking and its history, and finally literature searches of competing products. The second part is practical and is dedicated to the design itself. This process consists sketching, a subsequent 3D modelling and creation of models. That leads to the production of the rocking chair in 1:1 scale.
