The task of the thesis is to design seating element for dynamic sitting using molded plywood. The theoretical part focuses on the history, ways of sitting, ergonomics and alternative seating. In the theoretical part, there is also chapter dedicated to the technology of production material selected for the design. The practical part deals with the design process. At first, there is compiled reseach, which is connected to a part of sketching and 3D design to find the right shape, which also takes place using simple models of 1: 5 and 1: 1. The results of the thesis are 3D visualizations of chairs for dynamic sitting, model of 1: 5 made of molded plywood and construction drawings for production of prototypes.
