Vliv kompetice na růst výmladků dubu zimního na výzkumné ploše Hády

This thesis deals with competition effect on sprouts growth of sessile oak (Quercus petraea agg.). It analyze dimensions and growth of sprouts in 5 growing seasons. It investigates competition effect to height increment and diameter increment of sprouts on areas in corversion to coppice and coppice with standarts. Measurement was realized in the area of ŠLP Křtiny, specifically on research area Hády. It was found, that with increasing age decrease the number of sprouts gradually. It was demonstrated, that sprouts are growing better, and achieves a higher dimensions in area without standarts. Competition effect was certified to height increment and diameter increment at the entire growth period.

This thesis investigates the coppice-making ability of sessile oak (Quercus petraea agg.) as a part of project TARMAG II in the area of ŠLP Masaryk Forest Křtiny near the village Soběšice. It describes the relationship between diameter of stump, bark thickness, thickness of tree rings and volume exhibitions left in the area with sprout quantity. Than examine interrelationships among volume retained exhibitions, influence of tree rings and bark with biomass increment sprouts. The research area consists of sixteen sub - areas, where each of them was examined 8 stumps. Based on field measurements in winter 2013 and 2014, measured data, which were subsequently analyzed by statistical methods in the program R ( R DevelopmentCore Team , 2010). It was found, that diameter of stump do significant effect on sprouting capacity. The coppice-making ability of oak decreases with diameter of stump. It was demonstrated dependence among volume retained exhibitions and weight and increase in biomass.
Analýza množství extraktivních látek a barvy dřeva dubu zimního

This thesis assesses the experimental findings of the total content of extractives and of the shared content of phenolic substances in wood extracts of the Sessile oak (Quercus petraea) from four different locations in the southern region Pfälzer Wald in the Rheinland-Pfalz Federal Republic of Germany. Moreover, the thesis measures the wood colour in CIE Lab besides focusing only on chemical analysis. The theoretical part outlines general facts about the macroscopic and microscopic structure of the wood (Quercus pertaea). Also, it discusses in detail the issue of colour and chemical composition of wood with a focus on accompanying components. The chapter Methodics describes the process of the entire experiment for the possibility of repeatability of the measurement. The results of this work show mean values of the parameters of the colour L* = 66,7; a* = 7,0; b* = 20,8. Dependence on the total content of the extracts in the wood of the Sessile Oak is not statistically evaluated for these values. The total average content of extracts in wood is assessed at 6,7 % and the content of phenolic substances represents 3,4 %. It is detected that the own colour of wood and also the content of extractives may be affected by the location of growth or even by the position itself within the trunk radius.

This bachelor thesis deals with the volume growth of the sessile oak (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl) in the forest in the conversion to the coppice with standards forest. The research areas are located on the property of Moravský Krumlov Municipal Forests. The aim of this work was to evaluate of volume increment of the standards depending on the stand age, the thinning intensity and the set of forest types. The analysis of the measured data was made in STATISTICA program. The tests showed a dependence of the increment on the thinning intensity and stand age. The most suitable variant of the combination of observed factors, where the volume increment was the largest, is the young stand with the set of forest types 2H, and a stronger intensity of thinning.
Vliv vnějších a vnitřních faktorů na tloušťkový přírůst výstavkových dubů ve středním lese

The aim of the thesis is to assess the extent of individual factors’ influence on the thickness growth of retention oak trees in the middle forest. The factors include height in 2008, habitat, release rate, vegetation age, the rate of epicormic branching and treetop health state and quality. To analyze the data, MS Excel and Statistica were used. The results were interpreted with the use of multidimensional regression analysis. The analyses resulted in regression coefficients which represent the relative magnitude of the increase of the thickness gain by the action of the individual factors. Not all the factors were shown to be statistically significant; their significance also differs over time.
