Hodnocení faktorů ovlivňující akcelerační vlastnosti vozidel
Cienciala, František
This thesis focuses on the description of factors influencing vehicle acceleration and examines their effect. The theoretical part of the thesis targets resistances affecting vehicle during its motion, during both uniform motion and acceleration. Furthermore, the thesis is devoted to the transfer of the driving force from the engine to the wheels and from the wheels to the road surface, in addition to the description of various types of engines and gearboxes. The experimental part of the thesis examines selected factors notably weight, type of drive and methods of shifting that affect acceleration and its movement. For each of aforementioned factors, the unique measurement method was established using an accelerometer installed in the vehicle. The results were then processed into graphical form and interpreted. As the results of the experimental part revealed, all selected parameters have a significant impact on the vehicle acceleration. The effect of the weight could be observed primarily on acceleration values while the type of drive and methods of shifting affects predominantly the course of the acceleration.
