The Influence of Single - Sex Tourist Groups on Creating the Identity of Their Members - Case Study

This MA thesis deals with the influence of single-sex tourist groups on creating the identity of their members. The aim is to discover the effect of membership in such a non-coeducational tourist clubs on children, and also how this leisure activity affects children's identity and what impact it has on their development. The theoretical part discusses socializing, social environment, gender, gender socialization and gender stereotypes. Furthermore, it also deals with the influence of peers and peer groups for socialization of children and the issue of the high quality use of leisure time. For the purpose of this thesis, interviews were carried out with all parties involved in the functioning of these clubs, namely leaders, instructors, parents and of course also the current and former members of these clubs. For comparison of some statements, an interview with a leader of a very similar, but non-coeducational club was carried out. The results showed that non-coeducational clubs are beneficial for children because the children have the opportunity to access activities normally carried out by the members of the opposite sex, and to do so without gender-motivated social prejudices. Childrens ́ life with and within media

Barbora Neuwirthová ABSTRACT Thesis "Childrens' life with and within media" explores and describes ways in which children handle digital media and how this media influence their lives. It aims to describe in ethnographic manner how children live their puberty with and within media. Main research was done through school ethnography, collected data were analyzed using systemic approach and interpretive socialization model. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews with 13 young people between 11 and 15 years old. Secondary source for research was in- school participant observation and analysis of respondent media products. Data analysis used open coding for creating codes and categories which were used in later analysis. Result of my research is thick description of childrens' life with and within media, which shows, that media are both tool and factor in children behavior and actions. Digital media create environment, in which children live in their own different, individual, ways, influenced by their personality or hobbies. Media usage manifest itself also in development and quality of peer and parent-child relationships. TITLE: Novels of Božena Viková - Kunětická AUTHOR: Bc. Tereza Brzáková DEPARTMENT: Department of Czech Literature SUPERVISOR: prof. PhDr. Dagmar Mocná, CSc. ABSTRACT: This thesis is focused on the interpretation of novels writen by writer Božena Viková Kunětická. An important role in the interpretation of works plays context in which currency are the works built. Interpreting the works of contemporary issues is supported women's issues and the status of women in public and domestic spaces. The first part is the atmosphere of the period in terms of the women's movement. The second part is dedicated to the interpretation of four novels Božena Viková Kunětická. The main theme of novelistic creation is a woman in several different roles and perspectives on marriage, motherhood or adolescence. Interpretation of the novel creation of Božena Viková Kunětická closes its comparison with the writer Ružena Svobodová, which was devoted to his work in a similar topic. Picture of growing up and the early adult age in contemporary youth literature and literature for young adults (The comparation of selective works of czech and german literature)

The master thesis focuses on the literary analysis and comparison of four books for young adults written by different authors. Two of the compared works are novels Eulengesang and Carolina: Ein knapper Lebenslauf by Iva Procházková, originally a Czech author and representative of a so called migrant literature. The thesis deals also with the novel Die Wolke by Gudrun Pausewang and the short story collection Meine freie deutsche Jugend written by Claudia Rusch. The main aim of the thesis is to compare and interpret the portayal of adolescence in the chosen works. Special attention is confined to the types of characters and situations they encounter, motivation for their behaviour and last but not least, to the motives. The opening chapters present historical overview of the Czech and German young adult literature. The thesis also includes a chapter on adolescence from the scientific perspective of developmental psychology. In the conclusion, the master thesis contrasts the chosen literary works in pairs: Eulengesang with Die Wolke and Carolina: Ein knapper Lebenslauf with Meine freie deutsche Jugend.

7 Summary This bachelor thesis is divided into parts, specifically theoretical and practical part. Theme is adolescents and their relationship to the authorities. To understand such relationship you need to know psychic development at this developmental stage. First sections of theoretical part are about this psychic development. Separate part is about authority and its development. Practical part tries to establish what does authority mean to adolescents. Main question is what must person with authority do, how to act and how to interact with students. Major part of answers was as expected but some answers are surprising and new The results could be instructions for teachers to know what students want and expect.

Personality development of students by art activities at two-years practical school

This thesis tries to understand and to have a better insight into adolescence and it is interested in options of forming personality of a young person with a mental disability. Based on the qualitative research, it tries to describe the development of personality particular aspects in the group of people in a two-year practical school. Sub themes of personality development are elaborated on the basis of cross-section theme Personality and social education in art lessons, where they are using the benefit of the art work, feeling and reflection as a formative element by creating self-identity in the behavioral-educational process. Thesis describes ways, which simplify the self-knowledge, strengthen the self-concept, operate in the area of psycho-hygiene and help to reveal the hidden potentials, which specify and focus the life course of a young person with a mental disability on the edge of adulthood. Monitoring risk behavior of students in selected schools

Anotation This bachelor thesis is dedicated to monitoring by the prevalence of problem behavior among pupils of selected schools and gymnasiums. The aim of this work is to obtain basic information about the extent and what social pathological phenomena in secondary school students most often, acquired knowledge to evaluate and then compare the selected schools. The research method has been used by questionnaire survey. Anonymous questionnaires have been filled with students of selected secondary vocational school and grammar school. The theoretical part is focused on adolescence, basic concepts related to risky behavior, substance abuse, truancy, bullying and ways of prevention of risky behavior. The practical part deals the comparison of selected risk behaviors at two selected schools. The outcome of this work has been analyzed the information obtained on the basis of which it was formulating recommendations for directors and prevention methodology, which risk behavior should be focused in the context of prevention in selected schools.
