Realistic Roundabouts Simulator
Molnár, Miroslav ; Petrlík, Jiří (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
Constant increase of the road traffic brings some new problems. Finding solutions requires an exploration of road transportation. The aim of this work is to design and develop the microscopic simulator based on the cellular automaton for simulating roundabouts. Such simulator allows to create different types of roundabouts that can be connected to each other by roads. Within the simulator, there is possibility to change different parameters, e.g. value of the visibility, the sliding friction, the maximum speed and the adherence to a safe distance on the road. At the end of this work there are the results of the simulations in the different traffic situations summarized.
The Proposal for Optimization of Logistic and Warehousing
Valenta, Martin ; Poláček, Tomáš (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis „The proposal for optimalization of logistics and warehousing“ aims to optimize supply and transportation process, while using ABC analysis and procurement of a new vehicle. The main objective of this thesis is to improve the process from a financial and time efficiency perspective. First chapter contains theoretical knowledge of logistics, transport and warehouse management, that will be used to analyze the current situation and subsequently propose improvements to the waknesses of these processes.
The Issue of the Competence of Drivers of Motor Vehicles to Drive on the Roads of the Czech Republic
Chodurová, Zuzana ; Kudláček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
The theme of this master’s thesis is The Issue of the Competence of Drivers of Motor Vehicles to Drive on the Roads of the Czech Republic. It includes an analysis of the current state legislative requirements for obtaining professional qualifications of drivers in the Czech Republic and in neighboring states and comparison of selected specifics of the issue. An analysis was made of traffic accidents in the Czech Republic and comparison of basic indicators of accidents with neighboring states. Based on the analysis of the current state, then the practical part includes a questionnaire survey and suggestion of measures for improving road safety.
The Proposal of Selected Logistics Technologies Usage for Improvement of Logistics Processes in Distribution and Storage
Páblová, Petra ; Vlček, Jakub (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
This masters thesis is looking into problematics of making logistical processes much more effective in the field of shipping, storing and cargo management in frozen meat distribution business. After analyzing current problems with shipping and storage in subjected company, solution will be crafted and guidelines to alleviate and improve current situation.

Mucková, Krystyna ; Zich, Robert (referee) ; Mráček, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis "Development of tourism in Beskydy and its impact on business in the region" deals with evaluation of conditions for developing tourism in the tourist district of Beskydy. Based on an analysis of current state of tourist movement, description of the most attractive places in the region and possibilities of financing, the outputs of the thesis are suggestions of development of tourism and related business activities and development of the region.
To Dvur Kralove by train - Transfer Terminal in Dvur Kralove nad Labem
Machainová, Eva ; Dýr, Petr (referee) ; Žalmanová, Petra (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the transfer terminal in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The territory for the new terminal is located between the industrial and residential areas. The concept of a proposal is to create a securely accessible place for pedestrians and cyclists, given the fact that locals are most often transported by bicycle or on foot. At the same time, I try to create a pleasant and easy-to-understand place, which will provide new visitors with a place to get the necessary information and for permanent passengers a place they will feel safe and will use the terminal. The secured access to the terminal becomes by a diversion of a part of the transport so that a pleasant park can be created on the eastern part of the land towards the city, which will support the relationship of the area to the city thanks to the better pedestrian and bicycle accessibility of the terminal. The park will be separated from the road by trees and inside the park there will be only low shrubs to make the park clear and there are no unpleasant looking corners. At the same time, it will be the first experience for arriving visitors to the city after leaving the terminal.
To Dvur Kralove by train - Transfer Terminal in Dvur Kralove nad Labem
Šlesingerová, Veronika ; Hora, Jan (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
The subject of this architectural and urban study is to design a new transfer terminal in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The terminal has to associate the existing bus lines and the new train line using the existing track, which connects to the train station located on the outskirts of the city. At the same time, the town deals with the issue of train and bus services. It came with a proposal to extend the track closer to the city and at the same time move the existing bus station to one place. This creates a direct train-bus transfer. The aim of the project, however, is to design not only the transport terminal, but to create a new public space with the use of the city itself.
Urban Architectural Study of Conversion of Military Brownfield
Poláková, Katarína ; Menšíková, Naděžda (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (advisor)
This is the transformation of the former military camp near Český Krumlov to the KRUMLOVIA training center, which should be a source of inspiration not only in the field of education but also a source of inspiration for the creation of a modern urban space with a significant social and ecological overlap.
Analysis and solution of transport in Znojmo
Kovaříková, Ilona ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the traffic situation in the district town of Znojmo in the South Moravian Region. The thesis deals with individual traffic modes, especially road traffic and cycling, but also with static traffic (traffic at rest), where parking and optimization design is addressed. The thesis also marginally deals with rail and bus public transport. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the existing state of the individual modes of transport in the entire cadastral area of Znojmo, but since the cadastral area of Znojmo also includes transport in the extravilan, the thesis is mainly focused on transport in the intravilan. The traffic load according to the National Traffic Census of the Regional Directorate of Transport and the degree of motorization from the databases of the Road Vehicle Register of the Ministry of Transport are analysed. In the second part of the thesis, selected problem spots in Znojmo are addressed, and measures for improving the comfort and safety of road users are proposed. Furthermore, parking is addressed, where the city was divided into areas according to functional use and the shortcomings were found and then the optimal solution was proposed.
Detection and Classification of Road Users in Aerial Imagery Based on Deep Neural Networks
Hlavoň, David ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with a vehicle detector based on the convolutional neural network and scene captured by drone. Dataset is described at the beginning, because the main aim of this thesis is to create practicly usable detector. Architectures of the forward neural networks which detector was created from are described in the next chapter. Techniques for building a detector based on the naive methods and current the most successful meta architectures follow the neural network architectures. An implementation of the detector is described in the second part of this thesis. The final detector was built on meta architecture Faster R-CNN and PVA neural network on which the detector achieved score over 90 % and 45 full HD frames per seconds.
